Hi, I have been looking at Trina panels and compared them with current data sheets. I noticed that Trina have updated som stats (Voc & Isc). If you could ad/update it would be very helpful. I upload the data sheets from Trinas EU download page. Hi, I have had trouble with a pretty simple 3D model imported from Sketchup. The program crashes every time I try to define mounting areas. The problem seems to be with certain textures. I have set up a duplicate test building with a texture I know doesn't cause trouble and it works fine. Can you give any advice to identify which textures will work and which will cause problems? I have manage to create my own climatefile and sucessfully imported it in to PVsol but then i cant find it anywhere. Can you tell me where i can find my imported climate files? Thanks Josefine

Hi there, I've been stucked at financial calculation of whole system components after design work done. For instance, let's say in our region 500 kW solar system costs apx. 400.000$ with all tasks from construction to commissioning. So is there a way to change general investment fees into the finance section or another part? Because its automatically calculates investment values and its irrevalent to nowadays (for 500 kW - 890.000$ almost double price of the fact) Thanks in advance.

Q1: Mean Temperature use in PVSOL premium is the mean temperature of the whole day (24h) or it is the mean temperature of only the sunlight hours? and if also want to know, if we chose the mean temperature of the whole day can it still give us good approximation about temperature loss in PVSOL?? Q2: Can PVSOL premium set the tilt angle and the direction of the face of the module optimally?

In multi-inverter systems it's often necessary to have AC combiners, especially with PV arrays located in multiple locations sometimes far from the MDB. Can we add combiners in PV*SOL?

Hi I have some projects we are looking at importing drone photos. Have read help and PDf but makes no mention of any file restriction. The OBJ file is 400mb! Ouch - is this too big if so what is the maximum size I get no error messages it just does nothing on import 3D model. Thanks Stuart

Hi, I want to simulate an installation with bifacial modules from Solarworld (Bisun Protect 290). But when I get the results, I don't have a better production than with a standard module (it is even lesser). Do the software include the bifacial production ? How can I add it articially (if it doesn't count it) ? Maybe in the caracteristics of the modules ? Thanks.

Hello, I am a bit confused about the Installation Types. Please see the attached image from the help menu, and the listed types that were identified. When I go into the software and click onto the drop down list, there is no roof parallel option available, however, in your help menu it says that there is. I was wondering if the name was changed to flush mount - good rear ventilation? Or are they two totally different installation types? Thank you for your time.

I know that the cabling option is not available for mounted modules. When I have a monted surface u just use the calculations as if the modules where on a roof and add to the cable length. My question is, when I have modules with east/west tilt is it possible to change the strings so that the strings are always connected on the same side, actually eveyr other module row? I could then use the calculation for aproximation of the length.

Dear PV-sol experts, I have a question regarding the calculation of the dimension factor, influenced by the cos phi and the AC Power Rating of the inverter. 1. When using the Huawei SUN2000-36KTL inverter with the posted output specs, PV-Sol is taking the "Rated AC active Power" (from data sheet, picture 1) both as the "AC Power Rating [kVA]" and as the "AC Active Power [kW] (cos(phi)=1)". (picture 2) If i change the cos(phi) to 0,9, the "AC Active Power [kW] (cos(phi)=0,9)" changes regarding to that (picture 3) Actual question: It was my understanding, that the36KTL can bring up tu 40kVA apparent power, as seen in the data sheet. Hello PV-sol, 1. For a new projects we're looking at using 'newer' modules like the Trina PD05-275Wp and the GCL 275Wp poly. For the Trina-PD05-modules there are currently entries up to 270Wp. Is it possible for you to add the 275Wp-version? A datasheet is attached. For GCL recently two modules are in the PV-sol-database, a 270Wp and a 275Wp-module, somewhat oddly both named "PV*sol". I think a mistake has been made with the data-entry, as it seems the values at NOCT instead of values at STC have been submitted. Is it possible for Valentin to add the correct 275Wp-version? I have tried to set up a grid price for our customers in Sweden but i do not know how to set it up in PV sol. The price has Three Components. A fixed price per month 600 SEK/month. A transfer fee of 0,0643 öre/ kWh of kWh bought from the grid A "penalty" for the hour on which the highest consumption is made, of 84,6 SEK /kW. an example, the customer consumes 100 kW every hour of the month, the "penalty is 100x 84,6 SEK = 8460 SEK. The other month he consumes 100 kW every hour exept one hour that goes up to 200 kW.Then the customer has to pay 200x84,6 SEK for that month in penalty. Good Day, I could not import the .obj file. It loads up around 70% and then shows a blank error window. I tried reinstalling PV Sol and still did not work. To whom it may concern, some of my projects do not work always. When I make them at first they run fine and the results are good, but when I save them or send them to my colleagues the simulation will not run. The message displays as: No hourly simulation results available. Please re-run simulation. To save these values, please activate the corresponding setting in the project options. Sometimes there is a message about the time and that I need to choose the option Simulate the iiradiance with synthesized minute values. When i do that the energy is limites as it is displayes in the graphic. What can I do about that? Kind regards

Hello, i'm trying to set a multiple orientations design and once i make the group of module area i can only choose 1 inverter group and there is no option to get a second inverter where i can set different string length. One of the benefit of SolarEdge is to have strings of different orientations and length in the same inverter and in this case i can't realize it. Can you please help me to solve this issue?
