Hi, all, we are just evaluating PVSol software and I don't know if it was removed from the newest version or I can't find it anymore, but in previous version there were few very nice diagrams that seems to have disapperaed. Since two days I m encountering problems while creating a new location for meteo data. The map is not visible anymore. See the picture including the error message, sorry I don t know how to insert a picture. The map shows error messages like: Exception. Hi, A short question. When i design a PV-plant in the 3D mode of the premium software, where in the simulation results can i see the peak power in watts for a years simulation. So that i can see the highest load that will be put on Inverter/Fuse... Probably on a cold&sunny time at the simulated time period. Thanks Daniel

Hi, I ve a question about making a copy of an object. If I select the object I want to copy and click the right mouse click I get the following screen. But whatever I click I don t get a copy. Hello, I'run into a little problem with the module configuration module. The roof should be configured into 3 strings of 19 modules. And that is going ok, only the strings are not in one sequence. One string is 18 PV Modules and 1 is located on a different position. Off course thats not what we want. It looks weird in the planning and also it's weird for the cable plan. Hello, I'm a PVSol Premium 7.5 R4 user and I have a question about exporting cable plans I saw in a post in this forum that it should be possible at the plan page. See attached picture. In this picture there is a side menu called Circuit Plan - Dimensioning Plan. This seems to be very usefull but in my version of PVSol I don t have that possibility of the side menu. Dear fellow PVSol users and administrators, How can I select just one inverter when I have multiple orientations in PVSol? I'm simulating a photovoltaic system for a building with 3 different orientations with 3 roof areas in each orientation that in PVSol are 12 module areas in total (as shown in the thumbnails ), but I can't configure all the 12 selected areas together in a single inverter . I would be very grateful for any help you are able to provide.

In our office we have currently been required some simulations to be compared with others from PVSyst. One of the topics requried is P50 and P90 probability distribution values which are available on PVSyst. Is there a feature on PVSol 7.5, which I am not aware of, that allows me to get these values? How to proceed?

Hello, Pvsol premium 2017 R7 Can you please help me how can i crate a complex roof from a cad drawing that i have attached below? During the 3D rextrtaction the software does not recognise this roof strucutre, even if use extra poly lines to mark the top part of the half hipped roof. If i extract just some part of of the roof sections then the software recognise the roof strucutre properly, however i have stand alone buildings that case which are just standing next to each other. I was happy with this trick untill i reached the roof section marked with red circles. These junctions i was unable to create. All roof section has a 30 degree pich, and…

Is there any chance you are working on further developing the battery discharge/utilisation modes? When we simulate systems with a time-of-use tariff we would like to "program" the battery to discharge over expensive tariff periods as a priority in order to best capitalise on the stored electricity. Also, are there plans to improve the charging strategies to enable from-grid (AC) charging? Most battery systems we install have this feature and we would like to set AC charging in the winter during the off-peak tariff in the software simulation. Many thanks!

When exporting a print preview as a .txt file, many of the figures used for the results have digits missing. The attached image should show an example of the differences: When we acquire the full version of PV*SOL next week, we will almost always export as .pdf, so this isn't a critical bug for us to have addressed - just bringing it up for your attention. If this is just a byproduct of using the trial version, then let me know!

Hi, I would like to know what the meaning of the message that keeps appearing on the screen when I perform shade analysis on the panels. Please look at the attached image which reads: "objects that cause shade are required to determine the shade frequencies! The PV system object's own shade is not included in the calculation!" Hi I'm have problem when I combine two module areas. Inverter selection no longer works, no suitable inverter configurations could be found And if I manually try to configure system there is no option to add a second inverter? No option to add second inverter Automatic selection fails with this message Any suggestions or help with this?

We need to unify all the database that we used in our company, We have PVSol premium on multiple computers and we want to use the same database from-grid tariffs in each computer, for that we can create the tariffs on a single computer and the others use them or We have create it on each computer?
