as a new user, Kindly I would like to know how I select the max feed in power clipping and it's importance on the system also I can't find the IV curve

Hi PV*SOL team. Are there any plans to increase the 5000 panel limit? I am now regularly looking at projects above the limit both on rooftop and groundmount. It would be great to have the full system modelled in 3D even if it takes a while to run the simulation. It is also quite hard to work with sites covering a larger area - you can't zoom out far enough to see the whole site. On a positive note - I'm really loving the 3D import feature. Now I have the settings right I am able to work with some large and complicated buildings. Thanks

Dear PV*Sol team, I have two main issues that do not allow me to validate my simulation results of the attached SPS system: 1. Although I fully configured my SPS system with 4 ungrouped inverters, in the "Results" tab, "PV System Energy Balance" section, "Inverter" subsection, there are 3 Inverter groups: "Inverter 1" (2xSMA Sunny Tripower 7000), "Inverter 2" (1xSMA Sunny Tripower 7000), and "Inverter 3" (1xSMA Sunny Tripower 7000). Why did this happen and how can I fix it and split them back into 1 inverter per inverter group in the results tab? 2. Hi, It is not possible for me to let Pvsol sugest configuration of my inverters since I am unable to slect more inverters to the selection of inveterers. I have no prefrences and am trying to get the program to select from ALL inverters but still I get the error message that there are no possible configurations. Hi, Whenever I try to use the 3D scene in PVsol 2018 (R4) it begins to load the scene with a progress bar, but upon completion the program freezes. I have tried uninstalling the GPU and installing newest drivers, uninstalling and re-installing PVsol, opening files in previous versions of PVsol, aso. Nothing seems to work. Do you know what might be causing this or any suitable solutions?

Good afternoon. We would like to know why oldest modules databases had Fluiteknik modules and the newest database doesn't have any module of this company. We know that this modules are no longer produced nor the factory exists, however until last year we could select this modules to run any simulation. Hello, I'm trying to simulate an East-West roof with a SolarEdge inverter and P300 optimizers on only 1 string. I saw on your website that this was possible (polymorphic Interconnection) but I can not do. Can you send me a simulation or a procedure? Is it possible to do it without 3D view? it is important for me that in the electrical diagrams, I do not find 2 strings parallel. I have recently installed version 2018 PV Sol and it appears to have corrupted my presentation pages and print. Every time I go into a p[presentation or view screen from there or even attempt to save to pdf or word the documents are all blank? Does anybody have a fix for this? When I preview the pages in the side screen all the information appears to the side of the pages.

Hi, As I understand it, it is not incorporated at the moment to work with SolarEdge inverters that does not have a built in MPPT but instead optimizers on every or every other panel. The Inverter I am looking at for the moment is the SolarEdge SE25K, and as I just said this only converts the DC to AC and the tracking and optimizing is handled by optimezers on (in most cases) every other panel. Anything that is coming to the software soon? Thanks Daniel

I'm using premium version 6 r6. I can switch on optomiser on an inverter but is it possible to do optimisation on each panel? Also with per panel optomiser, is it possible to simulate uneven strings on a single mppt channel? At the moment I can only do strings of same length Thanks

Hello, I am trying to design a 3D PV system on a flat roof of a building. However, there is a tall BTS tower just next to the building. I have tried to model that lattice tower in 3D visualization but I could not succeed. The best I could do is to replace a solid chimney and change the texture of it. So it looks like a lattice tower. However, I think the PV system performance may change according to the shading from a lattice or solid tower. Is it possible to model a lattice tower in PV*SOL? Best Regards,

Hi, Is there any possibility you will add SolarEdge inverters?

Good day I need some help with the use of DC combiners in order to construct inputs for single input inverters (eg SMA STP-60). The help menu suggests that you require the inverters to be selected before you can apply DB combiners, but how can you select the correct inverter if you cant create the single string input required for the inverter? ie STP 60 has one string input with one MPPT. If i have a 12 string system how do I combine them into one string without first selecting the inverter? As an aside - can central inverters be modeled with PV sol? I would imagine that one would have a similar problem with modeling as above? Thanks for the help.

Hi, I receive many project files with DWG files and drawings of building sites. In order to run simulations in PV*SOL I have to manually draw up every project and place obstacles in PV*SOL. Is there a way to import CAD drawings/ files into PV*SOL similar to the maps function? I appreciate any input on the subject. All the best Tormod

Does this program have ESS Schedule Function ? ( For example, ESS will be charged the power of PV system from 10:00 to 16:00 and discharge after 16:00 )

Have just updated my software, however unfortunately now when I highlight a selection of modules it no longer shows the number of modules in the highlighted section. This problem only happened to myself and not my colleague, is there any way to get this back as it is very time consuming counting out large sections. Any help on this matter would be great thank you.
