Dear Srs. I'm trying to build a project in PVSol with the import of a SketchUp 3D. The program allows me to import the 3D image, but when I load the same for the implementation of the modules, it gives error and seems like the "bugs" report. Good Afternoon, is it possible to input your own charging scenario for battery systems? for example we intend to charge our batteries at night approximately during the hours of 1am and 4am (we purchase the energy from Grid cheaper during that window) so we would like to see charging data based on charging from Grid and just topping up the batteries from PV during the day when PV available. regards

I am working on an off-grid design for a poultry farm with a yearly electricity consumption of 1,5 MWh. Now I have run into to design limits of ratio of PV power to battery inverter power and multi cluster box limits. See attached screen dump. I have tried to find help on-line but without success. What shall I look for? and Is this problem due to design limits in the PV Sol program? Previously I have asked for the ability to add Redox flow and saltwater batteries to the database, but that is still not possible. When will that be?

I wouldn´t want to speak about specific brands, but as stand alone systems are getting more and more common, and one of the most specialized company in this area is Victron it would be great if you can introduce in your data base their products. I don't know how that it works, between you and the solar brands, but at least you could create some PVSOLs items that you can use in a wide range of situations. And also add some connection schemes so you can use a charger/inverter for instance. Thanks for your attention

Dear Support, As you can see from the picture attached i got high loss in the MPPT voltage range(13%) when i looked closer on every inverter separately i see the DC/AC conversion loss is high why is that ? losses per inverter total loss

Hi everone, I have a serious issue with exporting PDF and DOC file from any PVSol results. Even if I open an example project, i´m unable to export PDF and DOC files. I can export only hourly values. Anyway PVSol still gives me an error "Presentation cannot be created". Can you help me, please? Thanks in advance

Hi PVSOL team. I have a couple of projects with new Trina modules (TSM‐285-PD05 and TSM-280PE05H). Is there anyone at Trina you can chase for this? I have emailed the request to database@valentin-software.com and asked our distributor to get on the case but no luck so far. I know Chinese new year probably isn't helping. Thanks James

Guys, How can I draw a roof surface that starts on the east side on the first floor (2.5 meters) and on the west side on the 2nd floor (5 meters)? Hi, I recently simulated a big project which could be broken down into three separate smaller projects. I noticed that if I simulated the small projects, the sum of the kWh/year generated in each of them does not add up to the kWh/year generated by the big project. The difference is small (around 0,8%), but still puzzling. In order to find out where the difference might come from, I then simulated a project twice, the second time adding a very minor change which should have no influence in results (a small wall far away from any modules). I add print screen for calcuation made by PVSol for Fronius ECO 27 and LONGi HPH 320 (both products from build-in database) Why the min MPP is so low? My reasoning: Tvoc = -0,286 deltaT = 70-25 = 45 45*(-0,286) = ~ -13% Vmpp = 33,9 Vmpp at 70°C = 33,9 - (33,9* 0,13) = 33,9 - 4,41 = 29,49 20*29,49 = 589,8 Calculation from Fronius Solar Configurator:

Hello there, I am trying to design a system using SMA Core 1 inverters in combination with Trina 270/275/280 panels to clear our remainders. When I simulate the system there is no problems at all untill I open the "Performance Ratio (PR) per inverter" tab and notice the following. Inverter 1: average PR of 45% Inverter 2: N.A.N. Inverter 3: average PR of 88% Inverter 4: average PR 32% Inverter 5: N.A.N.
