Hello, I am trying to create my own tariff which has 3 different periods. I have an issue as the distribution of those periods along the hours in a day vary depending on whether it is winter or summer. Is there any way we can tell PVSOL to use a specific tariff period from a date? Many Thanks

Hello Valentin, When selecting Solar Panels: I wonder what the reason was to make the "Orientation to Mounting Surface" to make a degrees calculation based upon the longest wall. The fact that it is based upon the longest wall makes it more difficult to calculate and it is a fact that it takes more time because with commercial installations there are allmost more buildings in different directions. Can this be updated and make the "Orientation to Mounting Surface" one size that does not change? Thanks! Have a great day, Remu

I have been all morning and part of the afternoon trying to do the energy simulation of 1 project in PVSol, and whenever I request the Report, the program crashes and shuts down automatically. The program have already sent 2 reports and the problem persists. I need to do an energy analysis of this simulation and see no way to overcome this bug.

Hi All, It appears the shading losses in the exported data are higher when the GHI is low, is this shading value the direct shading or does it include the difference in direct/indirect irradiance in some way?

Hello, Under the latest version of PVSOL performance losses due to low light have jumped vs 2018 version. On the original on the energy flow chart the low light performance was -0.55%, on the new one it is -3.34%, there are a couple of other minor differences, but that one is the bulk of it. It makes a big difference on overall KWhs/yr. This is for a flat roof design in ho ch minh city vietnam. Has there been an update that would cause this? Best regards, Rob

Hey Dev Team, The simulation report and hourly simulation values excel from the simulation shows values for energy generation from the system only for 1st year. We know that there is degradation in system with time so generation gradually decreases and yes, this is reflected in savings and FIT values in cash flow. I would like to know if there is a way to access the energy generation values for all 20 years. This could be useful to me as I am developing a leasing model (Pacht-modell) Thank you

Hello there, i have got problem with SolarEdge inverter. Basically If I try use any SolarEdge invertor for any project not working. Always show me "No suitable inverter configuration could be calculated...."So if I doing the same project on SolarEdge Designer,everything working.All data from SolarEdge put manually to the PVsol and its ok.My question is ,why not working automatic?

Hey Dev Team, Greetings from Berlin. Attached are the simulation reports of a project with modules in two different orientations. I tried to keep other parameters the same. To my surprise, the FIT value is different in these two simulations though I selected the same FIT price. Of course, the difference is almost negligible (€0,1176 und €0,1178) but i am wondering why there should be any difference. Could you please help me in this ? Thank you !!!! The climate data is many cases based on a time period up to 2010. Is there any information about when this time period will be updated? The irradiation data has changed a lot in recent years.

When selecting the tracker type rotating axis please confirm if the performance is based on a fixed elevation angle which can be calculated for a given location all through the year

Dear PV Sol team, in some cases, especially for customers with private business/workshop, the customers have different electricity price during day and night. For example, our customer in Bautzen, Germany has Verbrauchspreis HT and Verbrauchspreis NT. Could you please let me know how to add this in PV Sol. I tried to add it but i see option for only tariff slabs. Thanks you!!

Good afternoon, I wonder if there is a way to use a map selection or a coverable object bigger than 666mx300m. I know that you can always make a simulation of the real area in different parts but in some projects in which there are different separated buildings that occupy a wide area as farms complex it would be very usefull, I am thinking also in medium module mounting/solar farms. If currently is not possible I think that would be a very good improvement for future releases. Thanks for your attention. Kind regards

Dear Dev Team, Greetings from Berlin. Attached is a dimensions plan from one of my simultions and as you can see, it looks like a mess. I can hardly differentiate what dimension is for what. Could you please let me know if there is a way to obtain a better plan from PV Sol? Also, I added the load profile as XLS file with 15 min takt. PV Sol simulation report shows just annual generation. Is it possible to access the generation profile just like we have load profiles? Danke!!

Good Morning PVSol team, For our new projects, we are looking to use Heckert NeMo 2.0 60M 325Wp (Data sheet attached ). Unfortunately, In PVSol PV Module Database currently files till Heckert NeMo 2.0 60M 315 Wp are available. Is it possible to create solar module file from datasheet ? I know low lights performance and IV characteristics curves are missing in the data sheet. Should I contact the PV manufacturer for this data and files ? Hey Dev Team, I was wondering if there is any option for the customers to opt themselves out of FIT and get excused from tax on self consumption (Eigenverbrauchabgabe). Let's say I produce 10 000 kWh/a and I need 4 000, but in my country I have no net metering. I want to count the profit as = 4 000 kWh * price I would have to pay to purchase energy from grid distributor + 6 000 kWh * price I will obtain for selling the energy How can I make a custom tariff like this? I tried a bit in the program but calculations didn't go as expected (I got bigger profit that I should have)

I have modelled multiple buildings in one file with roof mounted PV systems. Is there a way to change the orientation (north arrow) without deleting the systems and changing the orientation of the buildings one by one? seems simple but I cant find the option. I really hope there is one because otherwise I have to redo a great deal of work. Another question, When I have rotated buildings, is there a way to enter distances between objects perpendicular to the objects? It seems as if i can only enter the x-y direction which is North-south and east-west.

Hey Dev Team, The cashflow table shows that the opex is gradually decresing over a span of 20 years for the system. From my experience companies and customers sign a fixed cost maintenance contract, don' they? Also, generally speaking, more maintenance is required as the system gets older which means opex increases with time which contradicts what is shown in cashflow. could you please explain ?
