There is a function missing with batteries. Will be great to set battery instructions such as hours of operation, net zero, or even peak shaving.....there is no way to solve this issue? Electric invoice shall include demand charges as well as energy charges. With battery storage, there is a chance to overcome demand.....to improve battery payback. Carlos Oreamuno, Costa Rica

Hi there, When I use PV Sol on my laptop seems like some drop-down menus get squeezed and it's very hard to read them. I have attached an screenshot that shows exactly what I mean. As you can see, it's hard to read the strings information and if I had to add more strings, I won't even be able to use the drop-down because it won't be visible. Hopefully somebody can help on this. Good morning everyone, I hope you're all holding out well working from home or whatever. I usually create my simulations over a Google Maps image cropped to just the space I need so I can zoom in to the maximum and thus have more details. Then every once in a while I have the problem that I simulate a system and then the customer asks me to move the modules to an area close by but which is just outside the simulating area. Hi, I am wondering if it is possible to access the simulation results per module area when covering multiple buildings with east/west tilted panels? This has not been a problem when I only cover one buliding with PV-panels. The attatched picture is taken from the presentation when I have covered three buildings with PV-panels. In the 3D design tool, most of the buttons in my "Module Mounting" tab is greyed out. It seems something is maxed out. If I select a previous array, I can edit (reduce) it. But not add any more? I have about 11 sketched surfaces, and a number of module row arrays with several module rows under each, for a total of 399 modules. Is something maxed out? I am a beginner with PVSol.

Dear team, Based on the attached screenshot, I've tried tens of times to compare the results of 2 projects, where they are exactly the same except the tilt angle. For the one with the zero titl, I can't find its result in the comparison although all simulation and other data are done in the project files. Is this a file problem? May you help please?

Hi, I would expect the orientation to be "the same" on the south and the north side of a roof I am making calculations on. Using a "east-west" system divided on south and north side of the same roof, in this example i get following orientation. North Building: 50% are 115° South-east + 50% at 307° North-west South Building: 50% are 127° South-east + 50% at 295° North-west I would expect the orientation to be either 115°/295° or 127°/307° and not the mix of 115°/307° and 127°/295° that have been used in this simulation. How do I configure two module arrays to 4 inverters? I don't seem to get the options to add an inverter or to dupiclate the existing one. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

We are modeling a existing Off-grid PV system with auxiliary generator. The system has the batteries connected behind the MPPT charge controller and the inverter, in direct current (DC-link coupling). Can this type of system be modeled with pvsol? How can we do it?

Dear Developer Team After reviewing your software I encounter following problem: The PV-Generator is charging the batterie 48 V with a DC-Charge-Controller, that includes an MPPT-Tracker. On the same DC-Bus lies an Inverter for 230V(AC)-1-Phase, connected to the house system - in such a way, that there is no feeding into the external power-grid. This is a quite sensible and surely not seldomly used constellation for OFF-grid and ON-grid systems to reduce inverter losses by canging forth and back from DC to AC again to DC to be followed to AC.
