February 20, 20206 yr comment_3497 Hi, I have troubles with creating and importing a TMY-file that has been provided. I just dont get the creating and importing .dat files to work. February 20, 20206 yr comment_3498 Hi Daniel, as described here https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2020/pages/system-type-climate-and-grid/meteosyn/#options your file should probably look like the one I attached? There were several steps todo: Format the header as requested (longitude, latitude)! Use \t (TAB) as separator instead of , (COMMA) Set your linefeed operator to CR LF (Carriage return, linefeed) as this is the preferred one by windows I guess that's it? You need to set your location name in the file, otherwise it is listed as the one I used. Best regards, Frederik tmy.dat Report
