I have managed to convert my 365x 48 table into a single column of data with 17520 entries. Problem is the data starts on the 01/09/19 rather than the 01/01/19. How can I tell PV Sol to recognise the correct start date? Thanks, Keir Table1.csv

Hi Martin and the rest of the PV*SOL team, So first off I'd like to say that it's always nice when you launch a new update (although there are often some issues that comes with that). I've just downloaded it and tried it out for 20 minutes. I very much like "time step of simulation" option. Might I suggest adding a some extra steps in there for the next update, a 5, 15 and 30 minute simulation shouldn't be too hard to implement. That way users can choose better between accuracy and time. I also like the circle diagrams that you've added to the presentation, looks a lot nicer with just that small change. Good morning dear developers, I designed a project and then rearranged some of the modules among different roofs (always with the same orientation and inclination), keeping the same total number of modules, same number of inverters and same number of modules per string. Besides the different layout (which influenced cable distances, longer in the secod simulation) I also decreased some cable sections. Comparing both simulations, the 2nd one is 2% lower in total energy output but cable losses, although larger, do not account for that. Hi, Is it possible to in any way be able to edit (and save) the text that is displayed in the presentation? I'm using the Swedish presentation and frankly quite a bit of the terms used are incorrect and will mislead/confuse customers. I realize that I can export the presentation and edit it in Word, it's just that this is a time consuming task to have to do with each new presentation. I've dug around in just about all the settings and looked through all the associated files that comes with the installation of PVsol Premium but I can't find any way to edit this. Hello everyone,I would like to ask a question about importing climate data. I got the TMY data from PVGIS, and I am trying to import it to PVSOL, but I have some problems doing this. I have downloaded *.csv file and tryed to transform to a *.dat file that I could import into PVSOL. I want to import this *.dat file, but PVSOL shows this message: "Conversion failed. Good afternoon dear developers, For some of my previous projects I've been using the Jinko 525 Wp module (please see attached datasheet), which does not yet exist in the PV*SOL databases, so I created it. Unfortunately, now that I try to use it again, I can't find it anymore: If I open my old project, there I can find it, no problem: What can I do to make this module (or any others I create) permanently available for all my projects? Hallo PV Sol Team, Ja I know it's hard to get back to work after such a good Berlin weekend So talking business, we are planning a 15kWp system with 2xSungrow Hybrid HV SH6.0 RT inverters each of which gets one LG Chem Resu 10 batterie. However this combo is not readily available in PV Sol. I was wondering if there is an option to select only LG Chem batterie under batterie section as I can already simulate the system with the inverter. Also is there a possibility to simulate a system with two inverters having one batterie each? Thank you, Vishnu

Is there a way to remove the "white restricted area" from the roof?

I have created four buildings and renamed them with their real property names in the 3D design. But when i create the report or when I am outside the 3D design it still says Arbitrary building instead of the correct name that I changed it into. See attatched pictures

I have an ongoing problem with PV Sol crashing. For example, I am currently designing a setup with 7440 solar modules in the 3D simulator, and while the autosave is being performed, the program hangs/crashes. This happens on almost every project I work with, most often at some point after I perform the shadow calculations. I have tried running the software on a different PC but I have the same result. I am using Windows 10 Pro, 8Gb RAM, PV*SOL premium 2020 (R10). Is there a way to fix this problem other than simply disabling the autosave feature? Thanks.

Hi everyonee, has anyone managed to design off grid system using pvsol. I just cant choose right battery inverter and battery system. Is there any tutorial or webinar about offgrid pvsol systems. Hi, Is it possible in PVSol to select two inverters for a solar plant with same modules and same PV lauout. Like a comparison between outputs of two inverters on real time?

Good evening dear developers, Something funny happens in one of my projects, depending on how I select the modules on it the numbers don't seem to add up: As you see in the first two images, if I add the modules it is 110+101 = 211 and if I add the kWp of both selections it is 30,80 + 30,30 = 61,1 kWp. This last number, however, is not the same as what I get when I select all 211 modules at once, as you see in the last image (that totals 59,08 kWp and not 61,1). The top two blocks of modules (110 total, 280 Wp each) are a different model than the bottom three blocks (101 modules, 300 Wp each). When I perform the simulation PV*SOL believes it is …

Hello! Is it possible to solve this with PVSOL? I can't find the settings to do so. "Simulation model that shows energy production during at least the solar panels' product warranty period. In the simulation model it must be clear that the calculation uses offered components" I can only find energy yield during 1 year. Can you help me? Thanks.

Hi, We are having some discussions here regarding the results of the "Down-regulation on account of the max. AC Power/cos Phi". We made some scenarios (different designs) 3MW pv-plant and in one design we got a high value of losses due to down-regulation on account of the max. AC Power/Cos Phi. Is this due to a "too high" sizing factor of the inverter? Or is there other parameters playing here? Would be highly appriciated if you could explain and elaborate the losses incorporated in this "down-regulation on account of the max. AC Power/Cos Phi". BR Daniel

Hi, We are often finding ourselfs in the situation that we are looking to use a few "coming" pv modules in our calculations that doesnt exist in the database. We often miss the values for Performance in lower light. Can we add the modules when we have the .pan - files? What I have seen, we cannot? Would be great to have coming modules in the database.
