Using PVSOL Premium 2019 in test mode. I keep getting the error message "Fehler beim Zeichnen des Objekts" and "Fehler beim Zeichnen des Prims" while my installation is in Portuguese. So I am not able to create a 3D visualization as these error messages block the program.

Hello Everyone, I am fairly new in PVSol. In the nature of designing BIPV modules in a system, you need to connect different sized modules together. I was wondering, is there any trick to connect them in series and later connect them in one MPPT? I tried, but it seems that the software doesn't allow arraying different type of modules together. I'm asked to show a graph (like the one in the results section) where i can see the energy graph yearly till the end of the solar panels lifetime, but i cannot see an option where i can add this graph into the report generated by the software. Is this thing possible?

Good Day, I want to create individual appliances in order to create my load profile but the appliances I want to add are not in the list. I see there is an option to import a vbi file but how do you create one? I want to add a fan and a laptop with a wattage of 91W and 60W, how can I do this? Thanks Regards Damon

Hi, I'm searching for a quick solution for checking the peak power production of a site (maximum production during 1 minute in year). According to https://forum.valentin-software.com/topic/483-design-peak-power-outcome/?tab=comments#comment-1070 there are 3 ways of checking this, using the Diagram editor or exporting a simulation result file as a CSV file. I'm trying getting the PV Energy (DC) included in the CSV-file but I don't succeed, how to do this? Hi Is it possible to see the actual kWh grid feed in for 1 hour? If you eksamble need to know how many kWh the grid feed in are from 13:00 ti 14:00? I only find W values in the Diagram editor Regards, Mikael

Hallo Team, I was trying to compare system performace for a project using different modules. I found it interesting that the module surface reflection losses with Qcells 345 Wp and SunPower 390 Wp modules are zero. Whereas, the losses are significant when I used Glass-Glass modules (Sonnenstromfabrik and Solarwatt). The Sonnenstromfabrik module I used for simulation is not present in the database and so i added it myself. If it happens that Glass-Glass modules have higher reflection losses, i wonder how PV*Sol considered the module that I added as Glass-Glass (of course, I mentioned it in the name of the module). Hey there, I remember reading a similar question sometime in this Forum but couldn't find it in the moment. The question is, I see different energy values in the report. the monthly generation values adds upto 14.191 kWh where as, the value post the losses shows 17.993 kWh but at the end the PV Generated Energy values shows 18.004 kWh. could you please help me with this?

Dear PV Sol Team, This is a general question on how shading of module is determined by PV Sol What is the smallest unit that PV Sol takes into account for shading analysis. Is it module or sub-module (series string of cells protected by one bypass diode) ? And how is diffused radiation distributed on the shaded modules ?. Is the diffused radiation distributed equally on all modules? i think diffused radiation is lower on near shaded modules and so missmatch losses would actually be higher than what it is calculated when an even distribution of diffused radiation is considered. Please correct me if i'm wrong

Here it is, I tried to connect modules who have different directions and tilts on only one inverter. The problem is I can't do it despite the power optimizer. The modules can't be connected altogether on one inverter. Hello, I have a .MET file from a solar station, how can I convert to a PVSOL compatible format?

Dear PV Sol Team, I found it interesting to see that in a grid connected PV System+Battery, there is consumption from grid to charge the battery. Why should battery draw energy from grid if there is no enough PV generation to completely charge it? Can't the system be designed to partially load the battery using only PV generation as in off-grid systems? also, is there a way to access the battery charge and discharge profile? The customer is very much interested in demand side management to make the best of the PV system. And i am sure this also helps in chosing the best suitable battery capacity, don't you think so? We tried this: MeteoSyn > List > Right Click on File > "Show in containing folder" then we can delete some. Not all files are in the "containing folder". How do we delete those files? In the inverter selection window I combine two or more different roof areas in the tree. Mark both by using the Control (Ctrl) key and the left mouse button as recommended. Afterwards the icon "Configure selected module Areas together" is activated. I do click the icon and both areas will be merged. When selecting a suitable inverter, there I can select only one inverter, no number of inverters offered, no copying, incresing no. of inverters, adding inverters offered. So I cannot complete the configuration. How can we fix this problem?
