Hi, I was wondering, the simplified circuit diagram under PV-system in the report is often empty (see image). This is even though the circuit diagram in the "plans and parts"-section is correct. How can i make it show under the PV-system?

I am working on a project that requires a large amount of power intermittently, 2.5MVA for 20mins 8 times a day. The grid supply is limited to 1.5MVA so I need to install at least a 1MVA battery to provide the extra energy when required but I cannot find a way of getting the battery to discharge to limit the amount of power required from the grid. Using the standard settings means that the battery seemingly triggers randomly, sometimes 3 times a day, sometimes not at all.

Dear all, I have a question regarding the definition of cable losses on DC and AC side. In the TAB "cables", if I press "in detail" cable loss function I would like to define separate for each inverter the AC and DC cable length in order to calculate losses. What I just saw, that if I define 16 x the same inverter, with same string configuration and 1 x same inverter but other string configuration, the software shows on the left side only two cable configurations (see picture bellow). If I want to define exact cable length of each inverter of those 16 (which are not on the same position in the PV installation), I need to define separate for each…

Buenos días, Su herramienta me parece muy ágil en cuanto a diseño del edificio y entorno, así como para llevar a cabo una distribución rápida de los módulos fotovoltaicos. Sin embargo, una vez introducidos los valores de consumo, me gustaría poder estudiar la relación consumo-producción-vertido(excedentes) sin tener que conectar antes toda la instalación. Existen muchos condicionantes a la hora del predimensionado de la instalación, por ello sería de gran utilidad poder obviar la parte de la conexión y poder valorar antes si es viable o no el conjunto. Heya Team, I observed on the inverter config page that the module surface orientation is different in the new PVSol version. As you can see in the image, I have two module surfaces facing Nord-west and Nord-ost but the inverter config shows only Nord-west Is this something that has actually been changed in the new version or is it a bug? Hello to all. I am new and learning about all the process on PV SOL. I am planing a photovoltaic system and the "Sizing Factor" is showing me a factor of 154,9 but I don't understand how PV SOL calculates this value. The Interverter can receive up to 7,5 kWp in the south direction of the roof and 8,5 kWp in the west and east direction of the roof. The actually photovoltaic system reach 7,13 kWp on the interverter and the direction of roof is east. So, I've been spending that last few days (more like weeks) tinkering with open source photogrammetry and 3d modelling software. I'm at the stage now where I'm able to import many city blocks at once but up until this hour I haven't been able to get the textures to work. Now when I finally got the textures to work it completely broke the model and all that remains is basically 4 broken buildings, before it was more like 400 and a huge hill with trees but without textures. I'm no where near the vertex limit (managed to get it down to like 30k vertices with ok appearance) so my only conclusion is that that I somehow reached PV*SOL's cache or RAM limit (or somet…

Hi, I created a nice 3d model, and exported it in .obj format. Imported in PVSol premium. There are a lot of obstructions on the roof (skylights, antennae, ...). how can I convert these objects automatically to barred areas? They are all defined as separate solids, and can be clicked as such, but to make a barred area I can only see the option to draw them manually? Is there a way to just click all those polygons/solids, or extract them automatically? Thanks, Wouter

Hi PVSOL team. Has something changed when using "create data for new location" using UK postcodes. Recently the pin is a distance away from the desired location. I ran a couple of tests - OX12 9SN - 2km away from correct location OX13 6BS - 4.2km away from correct location In both cases entering the postcodes into Google Earth gives the correct location. Sorry if this has been fixed recently, I need to pay for my maintenance (I will pay this week I promise!). James

Where can it be indicated that the project involves a medium-voltage customer? In addition, the question arises: Where is the power price specified, i.e. what is indirectly saved? Hey Valentin Team, I tried simulating one of our PV systems with Fronius ECO 27 inverter, which as per its Datenblatt, has max input voltage of 1.000V The modules I used are SOLON R-WF 120p.2/370 with max Voc of 40,81V There is a warning that max Voc of inverter is crossed when I used 24 modules (24*40,81 = 980V) on one string. What am I missing here?? Thank you!!

Hi PV Sol-Team, with the last update (PV SOL premium 2019 R10) I am having this error more frecuently and mor dramatic. I have already lost 2 projects with this error where I cant reenter to the projet and I had to do them again. I cant see more details about the error, just the picture that I have attached. Is there a configuration to solve it or some parameters to avoid it? Thank you!

Hi I have a question regarding PVsol computer usage. In the attachment you can find performance tab from task manager while running PVsol together with other software. Screenshot is while im running simulation (adopt data). Why PVsol doesn't use more resources to perform these actions faster ? (extrenal GPU and so) It seems to me that there is no big difference of running PVsol on powerful PC/ laptop configuration cause it just don utilities resource well. (im speaking from first hand experience on different configurations ) Thanks
