PV*SOL

I am simulating a bifacial system with east-west configuration. Albedo is set to 100 and modules are elevated to a height to secure rear irridiance -- not intended under real system operation. PVSol reports on ground reflection (albedo), but no rear irridiance. In south configuration with the same panel, I do get rear irridiance, but not in east-west. Any special trick to east-west config? Hello there, can you explain why this is happening please.... My generated graph for jjune PV generation is circa 17000kWh, 10000kWh is own consumption and say 7000kWh is grid feed in. This shows only 10000kWh of the consumption is covered by PV battery in yet in June above we have 17000 being generated so why do we need say 1500kWh covered by grid? Also can you tell me why is there no grey coloumn for standby consumption in the Coverage graph? thanks, Craig

Hi, I have created a couple of projects containing batteries. In one of the models I get information about -Battery Energy for the covering of Consumption -Battery Charge (PV system) and -Battery Charge (Grid) All these are green blocks in the Report Overview. In another project I only get the yellow blocks, no greens once, and the yellow block then covers "PV generator Energy (AC grid) with battery". So in one case I get a more sophisticated report about the battery and in the other a more rought report with PV and Battery summarized in the yellow block. My question is now Why this is? Attached is a project. Which has 11.62kWp panels installed.Inverter, 10kW. Batteries 25kWh. And also a charger for the Mercedes esprinter Van. My questions are as follows: 1. How to set the minimum SOC level for batteries to 10%? 2. How is it possible for the SOC of the battery to be filled in such a small percentage. How is this calculated? If you look, it barely exceeds 30%. How is it possible that in the month of July, where the production is about 65kWh per day. Can't charge 25kWh batteries? Up to say 100%. I know it is shown in one of the first pages as an image like this: However, the information there is kinda small and hard to find (you can't Ctrl+F like with the previous PV SOL version). Hi, Is it possible to add a new inverter to PVSOL by using OND-files in a similar way like new modules through the PAN-file? I have already created a user defined inverter for the Huawei 115KTL-M2 by copying the previous 100KTL-M1 and then changing certain values. But since all the values are not 100% correct i would like to create the inverter more accurately by using the OND-file I have. IF not possible I wish that PVSOL will add all the new Huawei ASAP. For example the 100KTL M2, 115KTL-M2 & 330KTL-800V Thanks in advance.

Hi I have designed and simulated a project but there are some problems in the report. the inclination of the actual roof and the boundary conditions are different as an example This is the inclination i have in my module areas but i have a different inclination in my Yeild for EnEV simulation result. It should be 25 degrees but instead i have 30 degrees. I have also faced the same problem in different projects . How do I solve this problem? Thanks for the support in advance!

I noticed when I have multiple inverters with more MPP (Such as SMA CORE 2) and multiple roofs, when I try to configure inverter number 2 (or higher number) and I want to make his MPP to affect modules from certain roof, it makes that change but is scrolls whole simulation back to inverter 1. I hope you understood what the problem is. Screen record is below. This is really annoying because its easy to get lost in all those MPP-s and inverters, especially when having more than just 2 inverters screen-capture.webm 2. Could someone explain the following picture. After the shadow analysis is done for this mounting surface of a 3d model, only the shadow of tree and tv antenna on the right part is resulted but the shadow of the dormer which is in the middle is ignored by the software.
