Hello Is it possible to read out the maximum estimated production in kW (Active power) or maximum current, from PVsol?. The oversizing tool in "config check" is based on the installed PV Genrator in kWP divided by the nominal active power of the inverter, according to my understanding? What I am looking for is to be able to make good assessments with regard to oversizing inverters in east/west configurations. You will never reach peak production in such a plant. is there a rule of thumb for percentage oversizing? additional info, I use a lot of growatt inverters.

Hi All, I have created a nice system, unfortunatly the customer is not allowed to feed into the grid. Now he has asked us to design a battery system to store the energy. Unfortunatly or I am doing something wrong or I encounter a bug... The problem is that with or without batteries there own usage part remains exactly the same. What I can see in the results is that on a sunny day also the betteries are not being charged. Can someone see if I am making a F*up ? Greetz Johan

Hello. I am currently trying PVSOL Premium, still in demo version. I made designed a simple 3D scene and right after saving it, it became all dark, so that I can hardly distinguish the various parts of the model. Above all, this prevent me to see the shading impact on the modules. The problem remains even after reboot of the computer. What is going on here ?

Hi, While using PVsol Premium 2022 I have been experiencing a lot of crashes and of course sometimes I am deep into designing a system that I forget to save my progress. However PVsol has this autosave function and I cant find those files. It is really a pain that sometimes I have to start all over again becasue this autosave function doesnt really work. Or if does, could someone tell me where I can access these files from. Thanks

Hi, I have question. Is posible make tariffs zone on usuble energy. Example in one mont. In Serbia. We have three zone. 1 Zone is Green. 0-350kWh, 2 Zone is Blue 350kWh to 1600kWh 3 Zone is Red 1600kWh to infinty. For every mont conunter is reset. For me, I need is posible create this zone per mont. From kWh/mount. In option here is onlz kWh/year. In one day we have also High and Low price per kWh. High is active on day. Hello, I am currently working on a project that have over 10,000 mounted panels on one roof. For simulation I did couple separate PVSOL projects (as program have limitations) but now I am asked to supply pictures from different angles for 3D model which is impossible in the PVSOL at the minute. Please share ideas how could this be approach? ps. for the aerial view I have combine pictures from all projects, but this is impossible if I do it in angle

Hello, At the moment I'm simulating a plant which has quite a bit of inverter down regulation on account of max. AC power/ cos phi. This is due to the sizingfactor of the inverters being quite high. But is it also possible to run the simulation over multiple years. My expectation is that the down regulation would be less each year (at the same solar irradiaton) due to the degradation of the modules. Is this possible to simulate this, so I can have some numbers by my expactation. Thanks,

I have a Collada-File (*.dae) that I am able to import but with an error, that the texture "images" can not be found. Within the folder i tried everything images as delivered in "images.zip" images unzipped in folder "images" images in folder "<Model-Name> Question: Why does it not import the textures and how do I have to build up the file structure to make it work?
