Dear all, May this is an stupid question, but after looking for internet explanation I couldn't clear it up. The concept of Yeal Reduction due to Shading. It is evaluated in %/year. This confuses me a little. As example, a value of 15 %/year. Does it mean that every new year the Yeal is reducing 15 % due the Shading, so as example if the first years production is 1000 kWh, second will be 1000*0,75, third 1000*0.75*0.75, so on.. So that would be too much and it would mean that the shading would be reducing the lifetime of the plant in a shocking way. What I find more logic is that this means that within the performance ratio, let say if this is 75%, 15 …

Hello I need to know if there is something wrong with the bifaciality of an Akcome panel in PV*Sol database. The panel: CHASER-M6/144P 470W HJT Half-cut Bifacial Double Glass In the datasheet the bifaciality is: 85% + - 5% In PV*Sol database the bifaciality factor is: 15% Is it correct to use 15% in PV*Sol, or should I change the panel bifaciality to 85%.

Dear support, I have checked rated active power of whole solar inverters such as type 36, 40, 50, 60, 100KTL. This power has been used for coefficient of overloading which suggests the software during design. But sometimes is used nominal power and sometimes is used maximal apparent power when power factor = 1. Those final active powers are different. Please unify the right calculation of overloading ratio. For example: nominal power 50kW and 60kWp of panels does overloading ratio 120% to DC site. But apparent power 55kVA (power factor 1) makes active power 55kW than overloading ratio is 109%. I am afraid to overload it correctly. Design of cables, circuit break…

Dear support, I have found a fail parameter in properties of hybrid inverter Solax 15kW G4. Inverter has two MPPTs with two diferent current for one MPPT and second MPPT. Hi, I have flat roof as shown in the figure and I am facing two challenges in the design. First one, The orientation of modules is 169,20 degree (South-East) but when I set the modules, it takes the opposite orientation and the modules are faced to the North . I don't know why that happens. How can I orientate the modules to be faced with 169,20 not the opposite ? The second challenge is the tilt angle in the 3D. it seems that the angle is set to be 30 degrees which is not suitable for this project and it seems when I want to change this value it returns automatically to 30 degrees. Hello! I made one solar plant with 1820 solar panels, each 450W. Total output 819kW with spec.annual yield 855,61 kwh/kwp. Grid feed in 700 955 kwh/year. Then I changed all 1820 panels to 460W. Then total output was 837,20kW with spec.annual yield 831,37 kwh/kwp. Grid feed in 696 232 kwh/year. My question - why the spec.annual yield and grid feed in drop off so much ? I am concerned because, the power of one module became bigger, but the spec. annual yield decreased. Please see file attached.

Hallo Community, Ich habe eine Frage bzgl. Energiebilanz und Ertrag. Ich habe zwei Mal eine Anlage mit der Größe 16,60 kWp simuliert. Also 1 x mit Huawei SUN2000 12KTL-M2 und 1 x mit Huawei SUN2000 15KTL-M2. Nach den Simulationen wurde der Ertrag mit der 15 kW WR weniger berechnet. Nach meiner Meinung sollte der Ertrag mit dem größerem Wechselrichter mehr sein, oder bin ich falsch? Daher sollte ich fragen, warum man den Ertrag mit 15 kW WR weniger bekommt. Anbei füge ich beide Energiebilanzen, Ertragsprognosen und die Belegung ein. Hinweis: Die Anlagen und die Verschaltungen ( 1 MPP pro Modulfeld) sind gleich in beiden Situationen. Danke im Voraus …

Hi everyone, I´m trying to use the 3d modeling tool on PV SOL 2018, but it just don´t shows its icons maybe because of the resolution of my screen, but i´ve tried every resolution since 1280 x 720 px to 3840 x 2160 px but nothing worked.
