Sebastian K
Hello I need to know if there is something wrong with the bifaciality of an Akcome panel in PV*Sol database. The panel: CHASER-M6/144P 470W HJT Half-cut Bifacial Double Glass In the datasheet the bifaciality is: 85% + - 5% In PV*Sol database the bifaciality factor is: 15% Is it correct to use 15% in PV*Sol, or should I change the panel bifaciality to 85%. developer_fw
Hello Sebastian K, it is correct the way you think of this factor. https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2022/en/calculation/pv-modules/bifacial-modules/ I searched for the datasheet and attached it. In contrast to your screenshot the Bifaciality Factor is not given in the table Operating Condition but in the table Electrical Parameters. The values 470 and 379 result to a bifaciality factor of 80.64%. In our database the manufacturer put 90%, so this seems a bit too generous. Kind regards, Frederik Akcome_470.pdf
