Our customer is asking if we can do the following

  1. Day (24h) generation profile (mid-week; mid-winter): to provide a ‘snap-shot’ as to how the generation profile would be when each plant is fully operational during the shorter days)
  2. Day (24h) generation profile (weekend; mid-winter😞 to provide a ‘snap-shot’ as to how the generation profile would be when each plant is not fully operational during the shorter days, i.e. baseload only)
  3. Day (24h) generation profile (mid-week; mid-summer): to provide a ‘snap-shot’ as to how the generation profile would be when each plant is fully operational during the longer days)
  4. Day (24h) generation profile (weekend; mid-summer): to provide a ‘snap-shot’ as to how the generation profile would be when each plant is not fully operational during the longer days, i.e. baseload only)

is that possible ?

Hi anees,

you could stack several load profiles, e.g. base load + a weekend profile + a week profile, simulate your plant and have a look at the simulation data. Since it is hard to boil down everything onto one or two days to make a claim, you could plot the data of several days of a certain period overlayed. Unfortunately this is not possible within PV*SOL, you have to use the export function on the page Presentation:

I hope this helps. If you have further questions, feel free to ask!

Kind regards,
Frederik
