PV*SOL

Hi there. I have a project with 8 different rooftops. So, when I export the string (or cable plan) to DXF, I have to manually save the eight of them, correct the scale of each drawing and put everything together in another drawing. Is there any way I could select everything and export just one file?

Hi, I'm currently desgining an array for a block of 4 flats, they array needs to be split for each propety. Is there anyway of showing multiple grid connections, shy of creating a model for each flat? Thanks inadvance.

I wander how the program determines the power flow in each direction and which equations/models used to generate the power flow direction. Hey everyone, me again. Sorry for disturbing. I am having problems understanding how the software prioritize the flow of energy (battery charging over injection). And if it's possible to set up this parameter in advance. Using the following picture as an example I do not understand why the system injects so much energy instead of charging the batteries. SOC is at maximum around 13%. Modifying the grid injection does not seem to solve the problem. Thanks in advance!

Dears when comparing simulation results with power factor cosǾ = 1 with same simulation results with power factor cosǾ = 0.8, I noticed that the difference in energy production is not equal to 0.2 as losses, but it is some value which is very smaller than 20% expected less energy, so the question here how PVsol premium is calculation the power factor in simulation ? Hello, I have a plan roof with some obstacles (especially high attics which shade the panels). I will like to design a terrace above the attics (similiar with the bellow capture) and to put the pannels on it. I konw that i can simulate a nwe building with pitched or plan roof, and to put the pannels on this roofs, technical will be the same. But to present thu way to my client, will be difficult to explain to him my idea. Hi there, I am facing an issue in PVSol 2021 R5, related to the dimensions taken . The dimension of PVSol differ greatly from the dimension of Google earth, , please find attached a screenshot of both software’s dimensions, another screenshot is attached to make you sure that I put accurate scale of PVSol but the problem still exit. Can Anyone give me a solution for it with little details as i am beginar, please as an urgent bases. Thankyou

Hi all, Stuck! I’m unable to allocate PV panels to DC intermediate inverter and DC coupled inverters. I’m in the database view for inverter selection, but there is no drop down change available under ‘product type’. I can only select standard DC/AC inverters.. not DC coupled and DC intermediate coupled inverters. When out of 3D I have all of the databases, I just can’t access them in the inverter allocation screen. I’ve played around for a lot of one now - I’m sure it’s something simple but can’t find it for the life of me. Any help massively appreciated. Dan

So, I had a client request the CO2 savings figures for systems with PV vs. the same systems with battery storage included. Of course, I had assumed that the systems with batteries included would have greater CO2 saving figures (or "CO2 emissions avoided" figures). I hope to retrieve annual performance of an installed PV system. I am using the actual measurements of the system to create the model on PVsol. Say that I have a 20 ampere main fuse in the house and I want to use an inverter that can output a little more than that. Do I use the "Maximum Feed-in Power Clipping" under AC Mains, if so how precisely does that work. What's the difference between clipping at the inverter or at the feed in point? And what does it mean when it says that it's clipping "% of PV power"? Can I use the displacement factor instead? How does that work? Or is it perhaps easier to create a new (copy of an) inverter which has the desired AC output?
