Hi all, My customer is a company which is very concerned about reducing the environmental burden. They run one Windows Server located in the data center powered entirely by renewable energy and they only use MacBooks in their office because Macbooks are energy efficient. In the UK there are now huge grid connection constraints for grid export only solar PV systems with export limits frequently imposed. Faced with needing to shift power to limit export and stay inside the DNO cap, battery storage is the obvious route to go as this can peak shave generation without the need for down regulation in many cases. Why can't PVSOL allow me to simulate a PV plus battery storage system with a grid export limit where there is no on site demand load? PVsyst allows this but isn't as user friendly as PVSOL. I have a project with east/west construction and 56 degrees southwest and 236 degrees northeast. In my opinion the production outcome is not realistic and I do not want my client to feel wrongly advised. With a system of 158kWp the production outcome is 149.000 kWh. I believe the correction for the inclination and orientation is not realistic. But I am having trouble finding the right parameters to judge this. If I need to include to plan I will. Hello I am facing some issues regarding the annual yield. In the east-west system and the south-facing system, there is a major difference after simulation for the same location, as you can see in the attached screenshot. Simulation is done in 2D. Can you explain why it's happening? Thanks
