Hi, I am getting an error if i am connecting an hybrid inverter to the PV system the error says: '' No suitable inverter configurations could be calculated within the selected configuration thresholds.'' In addition, it is saying that the max DC current input to the MPPT is more than the maximum value of 12.1A. I checked on the spec sheet, for most the PV modules the current generated is more than the 12.1A. I want to create a PV system with Givenergy Hybrid inverter and a battery. Can you please help?

1. How can I see the parameters of the created systems without removing the panels already placed in the project? 2. "My Solar AS-8M132-BHC-665W" panels are missing from the database. I made a copy of another bifacial panel of the same manufacturer, but I don't know which parameters to enter in the irradiance field. I am attaching a technical specification and a screenshot. 3. Is it possible to have the dimensions and characteristics of the placed panels in the presentation? Thank you in advance

HI, I have some questions about the finacial analysis in PVsol premium i hope someone can answer. I have a case with a privat house consumption with PV on the roof. It is connected to both the grid and the PV. The PV should go to the consumpion first if possible. Just to be sure i understand it correct, the "from-grid tariff" is used to modify the savings on the electricity used directly from the PV, right? See attached pricture where i have modified different tariff periods? The excess electricity produced is sold to the grid for the spot price and nothing more. Can i just type in a price in "Proce pf electricity sold to third party" Or should i us…

Hi, Does PVSol provide an energy yield estimate for P90, P70, etc or all simulations are done considering the P50 probability? Is there any way to get this values? Thanks.

Good day, Does anyone have good settings for converting drone photos (without RTK) to PV Sol using Agisoft Metashape Prof? I'm currently using these settings (all other settings default) align photos - highest resize - center dense cloud - medium mesh - face count custom 100,000 (medium) texture - 4096 OBJ file size 8.2MB Best regards Philip

Hello, If I import an OBJ file from Agisoft Standard, I would have to tilt it by about 45°. Can I adjust the inclination in PV Sol? Tilting backwards/forwards doesn't help. Best regards Philip

Good day. I have a question. Is there any possibility to configure an additional area of modules (panels) added to the already existing configuration. I struggle with this in larger installations, when PV modules are added, then I have to do all the configuration again. Is there a way to just modify the configuration by adding the module array and modifying the strings? If you have already discussed this topic somewhere, please just provide a link. Thanks Jan

Hi, I´m using PvSol premium for few months, but early this week PvSol shows me notification "The circuit diagram could not be created" for the first time. I made all steps like always - inverter configuration control is OK (green), simulation is running normally, no orange triangles warnings, but scheme of "energy flow graph" in results is gone and also "plans and parts list" page is empty. I can make results without these two pages (diagrams). I tried restart PvSol and PC too. Notification will apper in new project and also in recreating old projects. Will be gratefull for advice, what I´m doing wrong. Thank you.

I keep having an issue where the "Own power consumption" after running a simulation is " 0.0% ", however this not true In the simulation it says I have: PV Generator Energy (AC grid) 996,298 kWh/Year Own Consumption 899971 Down-regulation at Feed-in Point 0 Grid Feed-in 96326 But the own power consumption is 0.0% which makes no sense, is there a fix for this? Thanks

Hello, I’m using Luna 2000 5kW batteries and Huawey inverters but according to Huawey connection possibilities, we can have 3 Huawey inverters, charging the battery (your system only permit connection to 1 inverter), if one is M1 (hybrid inverter) and 2 M3 ou M2 on grid inverters. The problem is that with the available PVsol configuration, if we connect the batteries with the M1 inverter of 10kW, we have a wrong simulation as you can see bellow: It’s not possible to have just 27kWh of used energy with this configuration Could you please verify what’s wrong with your software or how can we fix it?

Hello, I want to simulate the 2000 kWh battery, and the maximum percentage of PV energy must be for own consumption. Why is this not covering the load demand? Please, can you explain to me what the number of battery systems is? For the Tricera battery (368 kW/384 kWh), the actual number of battery systems needed is 6. But with one battery system, the output is 368 kW/144.5 kWh(as per datasheet), as attached in the snapshot. To fulfil my requirements, I have to take 14 battery systems with 5152 kW/2023 kWh. Is there an error? Thanks

I have a free land of 18,000 m² and i am putting the PV in whole area. I chose the Trina Solar (TSM-400-NEG9.28 VERTEX S+2022) and the peak is 2318.4 kWp. I have tried different inverters but it fails every time. I am getting the error (NO suitable inverter configuration could be calculated within the selected configuration threshold). SO am i choosing the wrong configuration of PV model and Inverter or ?

I am running a simulation comparing a Huawei system to a SolarEdge system with near identical panel layouts, and there is a fair amount of shading on certain sections of the array. I would expect SolarEdge to outperform Huawei, however not only does it have a lower kWh yield, it also had a higher Mismatch (Configuration/Shading) loss? Is there anything I'm missing? I can't get my head around how this is the case. SolarEdge losses below, with 0.56% mismatch losses. Huawei simulation, with only 0.53% mismatch losses? I also ran a Huawei option with a few TIGO optimsiers and this reduced the mismatch losses to 0.40% which makes sense, I just d…

Greetings I was wondering when the batch simulation feature comes to PVSOL software. It is vital for those who want to simulate frequently and for various conditions, otherwise, this purpose takes a long time and in the year 2023, it is weird that such important features do not exist even in the newest version of the software. Therefore, I hope we will be able to have them in the next update of the software, please. Have a sunny day

Dear Team, I'm using the test version to try some PV*SOL features. The system that I'm trying to simulate is composed by 2 module areas: 1st area 3 x 110 kW inverters connected to 3 x 255x450 Wp PV modules; 2nd area 2x110 kW inverters connected to 2x 279x 255x450 Wp PV modules. Overall 595,35 Wp DC to 550 kW nominal AC power without consumption. For AC power above 250 kW due to DSO rules the system should have an interconnection protection with several functions, one of those is power feed-in limit. Say that I should limit 20% of power feed-in (110 kW) to a absolute maximum of 440 kW. Question 1: In "project option" -> "AC Mains" checking the "Maximum Fe…

Hello my friends. PV*SOL premium 2023 Release 2 included some very peculiar downgrades. On the "Project Data" tab, I cannot right-click any of the boxes to paste, gotta use CTRL+V, which is okay, but I still dont understand why you had to remove the option to right-click. When I paste a copied text into any of those boxes it copies the font and size aswell. Why did you do this? Is it intentional? Can it be reverted? Can I toggle something to fix it?

I have a fairly simple PV setup that I'm trying to connect to inverters: After picking the inverter that I want to use I let PV*Sol work out how to connect the panels. However, its results are not satisfactory: This is an ~800 kWp system using 110 kW inverters. It shouldn't take more than 8 of them. And definitely not 15, There are no suggestions with fewer inverters, others use 16 or 17, How do I get the software to use the inverters more efficiently? Nothing in the settings seems to be related or have any effect.

Hello, I wanted to compare the yield of vertical PV with conventional PV on a given roof size. The daily yield curve of vertical PV is usually m-shaped, which means two peaks in the morning & evening and a through around noon. After the simulation I compared the yield curve of several days. Besides the expected curve I also received several days where the yield curve is the same as the conventional one. I can't explain it to myself. Maybe you guys can. Thanks in advance. Best, Philip
