Hi everyone, What the best way to optimise the consumption (tweak the consumption profile ) to get a really good PV design? The scenario is that we have an office building with 80000Kwh annual consumption. The Solar system generates 130000Kwh annually. Somehow i can't find any consumption profile (or create one) to maximise the OWN Usage. I would like to increase these figures i highlighted with red in the attached. (Direct own usage and own consumption) I know its down to the hours of consumption and i am prepared to create a consumption profile to optimise the system. I have tried editing the PVSol profiles but not succeeded so far.…

Hello dears I couldn't find the answer of my question in other topics so I make a new one. In attached picture I have mentioned three points that represent I have enough battery charge or the energy production of PV is sufficient to cover my consumption, but still system takes the power from grid. it makes sense during Jan or Dec that I feed from grid, but I want to know can I make it zero in June or other months with same potential?

Hi I have noticed modules have vastly different IAM (incidence angle modifier) values. Ranging from 95 to 99 to 99,9 to 100. This has a fairly significant impact on the yield. How reliable are the IAM values provided by the manufactures and what level of auditing is done? These values are obviously not shown on the module datasheet and it seems suspicious that there is such a big range in values provided. I see for example that PVSyst requires a third party report from manufacturers if they claim non-standard IAM values for their modules. I've just exported an output of the project. its yearly yield is calculated at 16047kwh while the financial gain per year is calculated to be 128556,1czk. I set the buying tariff to 3.5czk per KwH. when you divide the numbers there is no way this can ever fit. any ideas why this is so? as it is now, it is confusing to say the least... i am attatching enlish documentation for more details Medlov 223 eng.pdf

In the shop one can buy PV Sol 2023 for 895 euro, but the PV Sol Premium costs over 1200 euro. What is the difference between the two? I cant seem to read it very clearly from the description.

Mi pregunta en particular tiene que ver con el coeficiente de rendimiento, debido a que ya configure las distancias a detalle obteniendo un 1.79 % de perdidas por conductores, modifique los valores de perdidas de potencia por inadecuación y bajo rendimiento, como también el de perdidas debido a la desviación estándar, pero el Pr me sigue apareciendo en 81.08 lo que aun me parece un poco alto para 176.32 Kwp.

Hello , thanks for a quick response on the previous one. in this project the PV system is configuring with Solis S5 GC 100k inverter having sizing factor 97.2% but i need to configure with solis 100k 5G pro inverter which is currently available for us in stock. but every time i run with Solis 100k 5G pro PV sol gives a error . but it runs fine with S5GC100k inverter. what could be the issue ? please find the attached photos for reference. Ich habe bei einem Projekt eine Anlage mit 6 Modulen auf einen MPP-Tracker eines Huawei Wechselrichters verschalten. Um die Reaktion des Wechselrichters auf Verschattung zu testen, habe ich eine Mauer vor das Modul gebaut, welche das Modul zu 100% verschattet. Nun habe ich Verluste bei Mismatch (Verschaltung/Abschattung) und bei Modulspezifische Teilabschattung. Nun stellt sich mir die Frage, welche Art von Verluste welchem Wert zugeschrieben werden. Hi there, I have a residential project I'm working on and the client is looking to maximize their solar PV output on 2 roof surfaces. The system size is beyond a typical domestic application (10.94kW system size). The client has an existing EV charger and electric air source heat pump, so the demand is present. They would also like us to provide them with a BESS system. Due to STC currents being high for this project (likely down to PV array size) and it being a UK domestic supply at 230V single phase, my inverter options are limited to Fronius GEN24 Plus and Solis S5 hybrid inverters due to their high STC capabilities. Dear friends, I would like to put 2 batteries to 2 inverters - every inverter will has one battery. But when I do it, than I will get message from PV*SOL: "It is not possible. DC-coupled battery systems can be connected to inverters from 3D environment if ... or the inverters can be calculated together for the yield simulation." Hello, We are working currently with Drone photogrammetry to create accurate 3D models and import into PVSol directly. After updating to new version, I have a problem importing the correct 3D model as it is seen in the screenshot for this specific project. I am following all the rules to import 3D models into PVSol: Max. Vertices 50000, less than 4K resolution, etc. To check, I have also tried to import 3D model from other project which has previously worked fine. However, I have problem with that project too. Can you help me resolve this problem?

What are the short and long term consequences for the inverters when sizing strings in each of the tolerance bands as described in PVSol? How does the range of these intervals are defined? Is it the manufacters input?

hi, I have an issue sometimes that pvsol doesnt show the graph of own consumption, even though. below I have the same project in another file and there it seems to work. I dont really know what is the difference between them. (the first was a 3d project but I removed the 3d check and it still doesnt show the graphs) this issue started since the r5 update, and we had this problem on several projects now Do you have any idea what it could be? do i have a setting wrong? thanks for your help Peter
