Hey there, This is the second time that this issue happens to me. Import the image in Photoplan, design the system and once I close the Photoplan window the little image in PVSOL gets grey. At first I thought it was only that little image but if I enter back in photoplan I see something like this. I "solved" it exporting the picture once I created the design and then replacing the grey image in the report with the good one that I exported before. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hi PV*Sol Team. We need your help to clarify about meteo, irradiation and atmospheric data bases compatibility of PV*SOL: Is PV*SOL able of importing database files like TMY2/3 Formats (NREL)? What about importing data from SolarGIS or NASA? Are Databases included in PV*Sol Premium? Are there detailed LatinAmerican Data included in PV*Sol Premium? Thanks Javier

PV Sol has suggested I can input three strings into one tracker for a Solis inverter. However the manufacturer's design software only enables 2 strings. Why has PV Sol recommended an option that isn't possible? I've attached screenshots of both designs. I'm using Trina TSM-420DE09R.08 panels and the site is in Colchester, UK.

So, we are planning a system with two SolarEdge inverters(SE10K + SE7K) and want to add two batteries (2*LG Chem 10). PVSol currently allows me to add two batteries only to one inverter. Of course, we would use hybrid inverters Could you please let me know if there is a way to add one battery to each inverter? Thank you,

i have a problem while mounting the modules on the roof i want to calculate the mounting support clearance but i receive a message telling me that the calculation is not possible due to orientation of module in rows and i have to do it manually. What shall i do?

I have a warning message (X) stating DC- Coupled systems can only be connected to inverters from the 3D environment if the number of inverters in the selection list on the battery system page is set to 1 or the inverters can be calculated together for the field simulation were have i went wrong as i have 2 hybrid inverters in the 3D model which are to be DC coupled, i have carried out the same method many times with no issue

Hi all, I've tried searching in the forum on this subject and nothing quite answers my particular question. We have a site that is 1680 kW DC and it has a grid export limitation of 485 kW. The site has an average load of 700 kW through the year. We are trying to model in PVSOL to show the correct annual yield of the PV considering this 485 kW export limitation. When we select power clipping at the 'feed-in point' the results simulation shows no difference to the kWh/kWp or PR of the solar generation. Hi PV Sol! In the ''Screenshot Manager'' there is a function to ''remove all'' below the function ''remove''. Can you please add a confirmation box on this function? I manage to miss-click all the time and I lose all my pictures repeatedly. This would reduce my anger towards the function a lot.

Dear, I have a problem with system configuration limits. I want to simulate ground mounted system and while I want to configure it my max system voltage module is 1000 V but inverter that I used have max. input voltage 1500 V and if I want to put 24 module (Uoc=50,15 V) in string, there is error occured. Hello! While designing a PV system over a 3D OBJ (captured in drone deploy and exported on ReCap) the result of the simulation was 15000kwh/year. It is a system surrounded by 2 buildings, with lots of shading. After the system was installed, the efficiency was aroung 30% of the simulated values. Reviewing the 3D simulation, I noticed that the shading simulation was incorrect, with values around 3% where it should be higher. So, I designed walls to simulate the building walls, and turns out that the simulation result became very close to the actual generation. Se attached pictures with and without the walls. Hi! In the input fields for voltages (AC) for inverter types, should we enter phase voltage or line-line voltage in the field "nominal voltage"? (See below for Growatt MAX 50KTL3 XL).

My 6 month license will expire on 28 june 2023. My boss already bought a maintenance pack, but when I check the registration status the annexed message appears. We have never updated by maintenance before. Is the software already updated? We need orientation on how to proceed with the update.

Hello, one of our users has problem with problem crashing. When he is using 3D models and is switching from/to Autocad, pv*sol becomes unresponsive and needs to be force quit via task manager. How should we proceed to debug this? Thank you

Hi, In Solaredge simulations I'm getting a crash during the report generation. I've noticed that after leaving the 3D simulation, there's a warning -"There are more parallel strings than DC-inputs at the inverter" but, after checking the system, that is not true. Apart from this, I don't have any other indication about what might be causing the crash.

Hi, I have one project where client want to fill all avalibe roof space with PV panel. Included North side. With the calculation through the software for that north side, I get a somewhat excessive calculation for the production of the panels that are located in the north. Is that correct or? Prjocet file in attachment. Through some of my manual calculations, I get that thanks to those panels located in the north, the total annual production from complete PV generator should be around 9000kWh per year. And the software gives about 12000kWh. Can you check this calculation. Eschborn.pvprj
