However the manufacturer's design software only enables 2 strings. Why has PV Sol recommended an option that isn't possible? I've attached screenshots of both designs. RachelEnergy Posted April 25, 2023 Author Report Share Posted April 25, 2023 Thanks Martin, that would be a useful addition to advise cable combiners are needed if there's more than 2 strings per input. The manufacturer has since confirmed an issue with their software, it should allow 3 strings as it's within the voltage range but there was an glitch and it wasn't allowing it, but an older version was.
