Hello, I want to ask about CD coupling system, I created BYD battery with DC coupling but there is an issue that the battery is not working properly. PV system should be working fine, but after calculating there is no use of battery for my application of grid connect battery system with own consumption. As you can see on the graphs above there is only battery charging but no use of battery storage to feed the load. Is there something that i did wrong or it is just your system issue ? When there is 30min interval consumption data, and information on constraints such as; available area and export limits - planning the right balance between system size and financial payback/ROI can be a slow and iterative process. My question is: How many batteries does the above system has? I know that, Pvsol divides the number of inverters, for example if you want to add a SE 50k inverter to the system, you need to add 2no SE 50k inverters to get the effect of a 50k inverter, which leads to a confusion with the clients sometimes. Dear Can I make a calculation with a sun tracking system?

Dobrý den, mám navržený systém, který má zisk 8358 kWh/ rok spotřeby domu je 5000 kWh ročně. V grafu toku energie je znázorněno že z výroby do spotřeby dojde 1995 kWh a zbytek je přetok do sítě. Problém je že v cash flow mi to počítá jako by 5000kWh byla úspora lze to nějak upravit? Dle cash flow to vypadá jako by to bralo automaticky, že výroba činí 8358 kWh spotřeba 5000 kWh a přetok 3358 kWh tak to počítá jako úsporu a přetok. Podle grafu toků je spotřeba z FVE 1995 kWh 6363 kWh přetok a 3017 kWh odebírám ze sítě. Což mi pak vychází jiné úspory a doba návratnosti.

dear pv-sol. I have downloaded a cvs file based on an engineering and I am wondering where the data from the image can be found in the exel file? I see in the exel file that Charge of the electric vehicle(Grid) is at 2204kWh while in the image this is separated into 2 separate numbers in terms of energy from the battery and energy from the grid. (466kWh+1739kWh) Where can I find this division of 466kWh and 1739kWh?

Simulation output data. Is it possible to change the year on the simulation output to any year other than 2014? I want to verify system simulation with actual system performance on a leap year and I end up averaging the output of the 29th Feb from 28 Feb and 1 March. Dear PV-sol experts, I'm currently simulating a solarpark with portrait PV panels. Due to the lack of space, we only have a rather small space between the panels, which causes shading on the next panel in line. Because we don't have panels with a bypass configuration for portrait, this would mean that shading the lowest row of the panel, will activate all bypass diodes and will therefore more of less shut off the panel. My question is; is this effect taken into account for the simulation or is shading taken as an average decrease in illumination? Do the software consider the degradation of energy storage when calculating the return on investment? I updated the DOD of the battery's discharge cycle in the settings. Also, could you clarify what 'SOC battery' means on the result interface? Does this imply that the solar system hasn't fully charged the battery?

Hi, I am designing a large university campus that has one main MPAN Meter with one Half Hour Data values. Due to the size of the site I have had to split the designs across two saved files. Can you tell me how I can create a single production, PR, export, own consumption and self sufficiency for the site overall? I can download the simulation values on excel but was wondering what values I would need to calculate to create the above overall values. Mainly own consumption and self sufficiency. Thanks

Hello I am trying to install your PVSOL program to test it, since I am very interested, but it gives me an error. I am installing it on a MAC M2 that runs Windows 11 in parallel. When installing it it tells me that it is only possible to put it on X86 and X64 processors (this processor is ARM) The version I am installing is 2024_1. I was wondering if you could help me understand how PVSOL calculates the losses due to the shading. In this project we have an east-west layout. The panels in the red row are facing a 5m high wall (building in yellow), so my concern is that it will be completely shaded at the very moment that it should be performing at its best (facing west, shaded when the sun is in the west). If these panels are shaded by this wall and connected to the row in blue, the row in blue will also be affected as they are connected within the same string.
