Hi, I'm having trouble using the 'Create climate data for new location': 'Measurement data' feature in MeteoSyn because the 'OK' button remains inactive. What am I doing wrong, or why is this happening? Kind regards, Pauline

Hi, I'm trying to insert my own climate data record into MeteoSyn in PVsol premium. I created a DAT-file (see screenshot 1) following the instructions on the help desk (https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2023/en/pages/system-type-climate-and-grid/meteosyn/#options). Now, I want to import this file via the tab options in the 'import file' section (see screenshot 2). After inserting the file, I either get the error message: 'missing information could not be imported', or the file is saved in the WBV_userfiles folder, but then I can't figure out how to select this WBV-file to be included in the climate data in PVsol for calculations. Dear Community, I am simulating my project to understand the impact of adding a battery to the solar + site demand setup. I am using Type of System: "3D, Grid-connected PV System with Electrical Appliances and Battery Systems" and "3D, Grid-connected PV System with Electrical Appliances" to check this difference. My question: Can you please help me understand where can I find the value of "solarPV exported to the grid" in the report? In the attached simulation report, I feel like it calculated all the information except how much is generated energy from solar PV is exported to Grid. What do you like to see in your designs as your highest PR and lowest PR etc Could anybody point me in the direction of a UK regulation that states what soiling losses, cable losses, mismatch etc should all be set to as a standard in PVSol to achieve the manufacturers performance figures? Hello. So i am trying to do the cable plan. Do you think the cables routes are good? I mean is there a better route so i can minimize the loops? Also, i used t-plugs to connect strings in parallel ( 2 strings in parallel x 2) . Should i keep them or should i use the combiner box instead? Whats the difference between them?

I'm trying to add 20kwh of solax battery's to a design using a solis 40k inverter. when selecting the solax battery's it is showing as dc intermediate circuit coupling. my understanding is that the solax battery's will have to be ac coupled to a separate inverter. I cant seem to make this work.

I am currently working on a solar/wind hybrid project. The wind turbine has already been installed and generates 330kW at its peak. I have the generation data of the wind turbine, and would like to run a PVsol report of the existing generation data together with the new solar generation data. There is also a 330kW export limit on site, therefore I would like to run the Pvsol report to monitor the curtailment that would likely happen with the two generations. Is there any way to input the wind generation data in conjunction with the solar generation data? I have tried inputting the data as negative but that hasn't worked. Any help is appreciated. Hi, I have a drone flight processed in metashape and I want to import it to PVSOL to simulate panel instalation. At first the model was upside down, I managed to rotate it back to the upwards position, however it is still in the wrong rotated in relation to the North. I also managed to rotate the model aproximately to the right orientation and perform the simulation. But the fact that I had to manually move the model to the right position indicates that it's not georreferenced. The radiation simulation must consider the geographic position and orientation of the model to be considered thuthful. How can I make sure that my model is georreferenced correctly? …

The inverter has two MPPTs, and single string for each MPPT.Have single string of Panels. I want to connect this single string to both the MPPTs together. How do I configure it in PV SOL ?
