Hello, will it be possible to have the "old" model PV*Sol premium and the new one installed on the PC ? If I buy the full version of the new model (without the right to a discount when flipping the license), can I still keep the old version on the PC in case I work in a place without an Internet connection?

Hey, is there any way to assign the distance between strings in a row? For example, I choose to Cover area with chosen assembly. It makes one continuous row with no gap, but I want to configure to have 0.5m gap between every 16 modules (2 portrait). How to achieve it? Please have a look at screenshot. I tried to do "Multiply Module Row Array", but it doesn’t multiply horizontally, it adds Azimuth angle (-10 degrees) also... pls help me with this issue, its very frustrating to work with Ground Mounts, thank you.

Hi guys, So I've made the update for PV Sol from R6 to R7 and unfortunately I have a big failure.Creating the string plan through PV*SOL is very good in saving time for me. Unfortunately I have the following failure where the modules show the correct rows that the string should follow but when it generates it , it generates it totally wrong. Hi PVSol Team, I'm having troubles understanding the Yield reduction due to shading. I've read that it's the percentage difference between shaded and unshaded simulations. When export control is activated the reduction is lower (for identical systems). Where does the difference come from/how exactly is it calculated when export control is turned on? I would have guessed the shading losses to increase with export control because the clipping is usually during the midday when shading is low, so we remove production with "low shading". I have two identical designs with the main difference being that one of the is limited at the feed in point. For some reason the design that is limited is showing that is will be exporting far more than the one that isnt limited. I can provide the project files.

Hello, I have an end user who is currently having issues with crashes when using PV*Sol and AutoCAD at the same time. They have reported that the CPU usage hits 100%. Hello I noticed in 2024 R7 a new area appeared in the lower bar in 3D Visualization. RAM Usage. However, when i have more than 1000 pv modules in the project, the number of modules is no longer displayed. With less than 1000 pv modules the number of modules is diplayed ok. Hello. I am having problems because I want to simulate a grid-connected installation with batteries and I want to use a hybrid inverter. Once selected, it sends me directly to select the battery inverter and the batteries and I do not need a battery inverter because I am using a three-phase hybrid inverter to which the battery can be coupled. Hi, We have a problem with the new R7 build. We work a lot with imported drone images. In the previous version you used to be able to edit imported map sections (orientation and inclination). Now with R7 the edit button doesn´t do anything and the options menu (right click on a map section in terrain view) has less options. This is quite an important feature which is missing. Could You please give us some insight into why? We´ve also been noticing other missing features through the last updates. Hello Support, I designed a fixed vertical agriPV system on both PVsyst and PVSOL Premium and got quite similar power outputs. I designed a horizontal N-S tracking bifacial agriPV on PVsyst and PVSOL (using the same modules and system input details as the fixed vertical one) but the difference in the power output was 70 MWhrs/year. In the design, the pitch was 10m, the elevation was 3.5m, the tracking was +/- 55 degrees. I understand that both software are different but I ensured that the time step, input data and losses from both were close to similar. How come the results differ so much? Please include string numbers and name of inverter in electrical plan like this: Is it feasible to change it? It is going to be clearlier.
