Hi, I’m working on a hybrid on-grid system with batteries and need help configuring the system to: Force zero export to the grid – I want to ensure that no excess energy is fed into the grid. Charge the battery only from PV and discharge only to the load – I need a way to prevent the battery from charging from the grid or discharging to it. Could you guide me on how to set this up in PV*SOL? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I was just wondering if anybody else is seeing some unrealistic production figures since Meteonorm 8.2 was available? The figures seem to be unachievable on most projects even with extra losses included. I have carried out sunlight hours checks over the past 80 years and maybe its just because we have had a poor couple of years. TIA Carl

Based on the sliding-scale tariff in the power bill, I synchronized the prices in the software. At the same time, I set the energy balance to net-metering. After running the simulation, I found that the costs without the solar energy system have a large discrepancy compared to the prices in the electricity bill. It's too higher than reality. Hi Guys, I was wondering what profile start date I need to select when re-importing exported PVSol simulation data. What I have done is modelled an old system with degradation against a customers consumption profile (Which is the reduce grid consumption from this old system) and added the OPC consumption back into that profile as we trying to show the benefits of refreshing the old panels. When I exported the consumption data and opc the date format is 01.01. So I'm wondering what do I need to set the profile start date with re-importing via measured values as I do not want to screw the week days in the simulation. Many Thanks Lee

I was designing a 4m tall carport canopy over a parking lot with asphalt. In the modelling for PV + Battery systems I have clients that are wanting to optimise their energy costs using dynamic energy tariffs such as Octopus Flux. This is where they can charge their battery system at night using off-peak rates to use that in tandem with their PV during the day. And, as the export rates vary throughout the day if they have a surplus in the battery they could elect when to export and when to charge. Hello, i have one maybe stupid question but i cant explain it What are the difference between MPP configurations - MPP1, MPP2, MPP3 ...... MPP10 and MPP1+2+3++++10? In first case i have 10 strings with 18 pv modules and in second i have 12 strings (second one is auto selected from the program). Inverter is Huawei SUn2000-100KTL - M1 and the modules are Jinko JKM460M. When i try to make 2 string in parallel on 1 MPP i exceed 26A.

Hello, I am interested in a financial analysis based on hourly rates. (8700) prices. I want to know if I can simulate the sale of energy at different hourly prices. Can I import the prices into the financial analysis? Can I automatically simulate different battery operations? Is it possible to simulate a battery being force charged from the grid at optimal times when energy rates are at their cheapest?
