Good afternoon, I hope you are well. Would it be possible to obtain or generate the DWG drawings showing the electrical connections per inverter only, rather than as a combined layout based on the overall plan or PV*Sol configuration? I look forward to your comments. Kind regards.

Hi PV*Sol! Got a issue with the program today, for some reason the information about the amount of modules and the kWp value does not show anymore. I have attached a picture of the issue. My PC crashed today as well, i do not know if the issue is related to my bluescreen. But this information does not show anymore, my colleagues with the same version does not have the issue. All of us are PV*Sol Premium users with the 2026 R3 release. If you want to take this inquiry in a chat instead of the forum, no issue. Thank you for all help provided.

Dear Valentin team, All PVSol users in our team are currently experiencing a crash that has never happened before in previous versions. On the 2026 R1 and R3 versions, while we're running the simulation, the monitor goes black with an error message "Device not working properly" and the entire laptop restarts. When it restarts, our changes are not saved and this is making the software unusable. There are 3 users in our team and we are all currently unable to complete any designs because of this issue. Our laptops have been able to to run all versions 2024 and 2025 with no issues, the crash only started when we updated to the 2026 versions. Is there a way to…

Hello can we configure pvsol such then solar should charge battery first and when power from solar is high then 1) it should charge battery first 2) if power is extra then that power cover load 3) if still power is left then that should goes to utility

Does anyone know if PVSOL is able to model DC couple battery energy storage systems? In the UK DNOs regard AC coupled BESS inverters as generators and DC couple BESS can also make use of DC power shaved off at peak generation by undersized AC inverters

am working on a grid-tied with batteries project, and idk why there alwayes a grid consumption, no matter how small the load is compared to the PV or the battery Is there a way to force load to consume from the battery first, or to prevent the grid import

Hi, I was wondering, is there an option to undo changes in PV SOL, other than not saving and simply opening the last saved version of your file? Something in the line of Ctrl+Z in MS Office. Thanks!

"Hello, I have a question regarding the following. I have designed two nearly identical systems in PVSOL. Both have 4.4 kWp of PV capacity, the same battery type with 19.2 kWh storage, and both use a hybrid inverter: a Growatt SPH3600TL BL-UP and a Solis S6-EH1P3.6K-L-PLUS. There is such a large difference in battery losses that I don’t understand the cause. Who can help me? I am uploading a spreadsheet with all PVSOL input values for the battery, the PV inverter, and the battery system. With the Growatt configuration, the loss is 819 kWh/year, while for the Solis, it is only 233 kWh/year." Growatt Solis I hope someone can help me out on …

Hello, We have a internal discussion about how to calculate DC cables. I have been told that it its 2 way (go and return) including the extra lenght of the connection cables. My colleague thinks it is one way including modules. In PV-Sol there is been written 1x go and return. What length must i put in with a 100mtr from inverter to module to calculate te totall loss. is it (a) 100 + connection cables modules. ±140mtr (b) 100 + connection cables and return ±260mtr

Hi, I wanted to copy this inverter and add a new inverter whose specifications are close to the copied inverter. Do I need to add the MPPT numbers of Max. Input Current (A)=30, Max. Short-Circuit Current (A)=37.6 for new inverter or is there no need to add the numbers? New inverter: This is where I need to enter the numbers: With the above specifications, what number should I enter specifically in the boxes?
