Dear Muhammad, that is correct, the number of battery systems is limited to 20 at the moment. In the case of your system it wouldn't help to make the battery system bigger however anyway, as the produced PV energy is by far smaller than the energy consumed by the electrical appliances (781 000 kWn PV energy vs 2 174 000 kWh load). The PV energy is already completely self consumed by the electrical appliances and the charging of the battery system, only 1265 kWh go into the grid. So making the battery system bigger wouldn't change anything, as there isn't more PV energy to make use of. But besides that we put the request on our list to allow for more than 20 battery systems in future. Hope that helps, kind regards, Martin

Hi Burak, the term EEG refers to the German law "Erneuerbare Energien-Gesetz", so if your PV system isn't located in Germany, these tariffs are not applicable for your system. If your system is in Germany, however, you can choose if you want to receive the standard EEG tariffs (which basically means that you are selling the energy to your utility company to a fixed rate that is defined by the law, the EEG). Or you can choose to sell your energy directly to a third party, which is called "Direktvermarktung". In this case you receive payments from two sources: Your customer pays for the electricity that you are selling, and in addition you receive a "Marktprämie" from the utility that covers at least the difference between the energy price at which you are selling and the fixed feed-in tariff from option 1. You will find a lot of resources on the internet if you search for ""EEG Marktprämienmodell", but of course, most of it will be in German. Hope that helps, kind regards, Martin

Hallo Raimund, das hybride Betriebsverhalten (bzw. den "MultiFlow") der Fronius Symo GEN24 Geräte können wir in PV*SOL in der Form leider nicht simulieren. Was aber geht, wäre, eine Kopie des Batterie-Systems anzulegen und die Kopplungsart auf AC umzustellen. Dann würden beide PV-Wechselricher AC-seitig mit dem Batterie-System gekoppelt werden und damit würde sowohl die Alt- als auch die Neu-Anlage zur Ladung der Batterie beitragen können. Zum Anlegen einer Kopie einfach neben der System-Auswahl auf "Detaillierte Auswahl" klicken: Dann im Datenbank-Dialog eine Kopie erzeugen: Und AC-Kopplung einstellen: Das neue Batterie-System dann speichern und im Projekt verwenden. Natürlich ist das rein technisch etwas anderes als die kombinierte DC- und AC-Ladung, aber energetisch sollte es trotzdem ganz gut hinkommen. Beste Grüße, Martin

Hi again, thanks for the files. What happened here is that both your list separator and your decimal separator are commata (,). This can't work. Try to set the decimal separator to a point (this is a Windows system setting) or set the list separator for the export in PV*SOL to a semi-colon (;), like so: Hope that helps, kind regards, Martin

Hi Muhammad, when importing or viewing the csv data in Excel, you should make sure that the decimal separator (point or comma) in Excel is set correctly. Open the csv file that you exported from Excel with a text editor Check which decimal separator is used Open Excel (without having the csv file opened) Go to File -> Options -> Advanced and set the decimal separator as found in the csv file Then open the csv file in Excel Hope that helps, kind regards, Martin

Hi Alex, the first point, the feed-in / export tariff is what you get from your utility company for each kWh that you feed into the grid. Using the green plus button on the right, you can define various steps depending on the pv system size in kWp or the energy fed into the grid (kWh). The second option, the own consumption, is what you get for directly consuming your the energy that you produce with your PV system. Or, in some cases, you have to pay for using your own energy (e.g. in Germany), so there is also the option for entering a fee. Hope that helps, kind regards, Martin

Hallo bene-solar, vielen Dank für die Dateien. Da hat sich leider ein Fehler eingeschlichen, der dafür sorgt, dass bei Minutenwerten die Ergebnisse im Projektvergleich nicht mehr angezeigt werden. Wird im nächsten Release behoben. Bis dahin müsste man den Projektvergleich in Stundenwerten verwenden. Viele Grüße, Martin

Hallo Busch38, Ja, das ist meines Wissens so. Der SE Designer kann diesen Detailgrad in der Simulation, bis hinunter auf die Ströme und Spannungen der einzelnen Module, bzw. sogar Zellstränge nicht leisten. Derzeit leider nein. Ist aber ein guter Punkt, den wir mal mit SolarEdge besprechen sollten, danke für den Hinweis. Viele Grüße, Martin

Hallo Ralf, ja, dieses Problem in der Darstellung gibt es leider. Es tritt nur in 3D auf, wenn auf zwei Modulflächen unterschiedliche Modultypen verwendet werden. Der Fehler bezieht sich aber tatsächlich nur auf die Anzeige, unter der Haube wird dann alles korrekt weitergerechnet (z.B. in der Verschaltung oder der Simulation). Beste Grüße, Martin -
Dear Alex, in PV*SOL, there are three possibilities to calculate the economics of a PV system: For offgrid PV systems (not applicable in your case) For ongrid PV systems with net metering For ongrid PV systems with surplus feed-in Wether you have net metering or surplus feed-in depends on your country and electricity utility (or energy contracter). n your case it sounds more like a surplus feed-in. That is, self-consume a certain amount of the produced PV energy and sell the surplus to the utility or another customer. Hi Sondre, first of all let me wish you a happy and healthy new year 2021! Most of the time the difference lies in the energy consumption of the inverters during standby or night. You'll have an amount of energy that is fed into the grid (in your case 73964 kWh), but you also have a small amount of energy that is consumed by the inverters and taken from the grid. The balance of both is the "PV Generator Energy (AC grid)". Hope that helps, kind regards, Martin

Setting up offgrid or backup systems is always a bit difficult since all devices handle the responsibilities (like battery charging, providing a grid, energy flow management, PV MPP tracking, PV DC/AC conversion etc.) a bit differently. I had a look at the Schneider XW website, but there a many possible solutions to connect and combine their products. Would it be possible for you to provide an approximate schematic of what devices you want to connect in your setup? Thanks a lot in advance and kind regards, Martin

Hi Miguel, that is correct, in PV*SOL you can't design an offgrid system with just PV, charge controller and batteries. The offgrid systems are limited to the connection over an AC bus, and in general, energy-yield-wise, it should be ok to design the system as AC system in PV*SOL, even if it is DC in reality. You'd have to set the PV and battery inverter efficiencies correspondingly. In terms of "overall efficiency" it really depends on the devices that are used.
