Hej GIM I must admit that I do not understand your question, could you elaborate what you are trying to achieve exactly? You could select the first 12 modules on the left of every single row and add them to the Define Module Areas: To not getting confused later for the inverter configuration it is good practice to follow a systematic name scheme while renaming: After renaming all selected module areas (I chose Row [ABC] - Columns 1-2-3), you will be able to configure all those modules to one single MPPT by choosing an inverter which is capable of handling the number of modules on one MPPT, activating Polystring Configuration and adding Rows for the relevant MPPT with the different rows which are selectable via the module area dropdown menus on the right hand side (This is the part where the renaming becomes crucial!). By setting the number of strings of MPP2 to 0 in this case we finish the configuration... This results in a single MPPT configuration for several selected modules per row for several rows: Does this clarify your issue? Kind regards Frederik

Hello PhilR Thank you for your input! It would be great to have a standardised format when it comes to time series data like load profiles, measured values, but I'm afraid there is none. There is even many database structures when looking at databases specialised in handling time series data. Since there are uncountable ways of storing information, we did not put effort in creating a second Micro$oft Excel or LibreOffice Calc to manipulate input data. You could send me your data so we could work out a solution. Maybe it is possible to create a Table once and reuse it for future input data? I am happy to help. Kind regards Frederik

Hi Levan unfortunately the cable plan is not working across multiple module areas, if that is what you are trying to achieve. Kind regards Frederik

Hello Marko Milosavljevic thank you for your offer. We do add languages if there are people like you provide a translation. I'll reach out to you via email. Kind regards Frederik

Hi GIM Did you configure one module system row and chose automatic configuration? So you do not want to have odd rows or columns depending on the way. When configuring this way... you do want to have clear columns and no "overlapping" modules unlike the following picture? I am afraid, but this is not possible with selecting all modules at the same time. I hope not wasting your time by showing you the following way: You could however select the single parts and add them individually one after the other to the define module areas dialogue: After doing this selection with one whole row, which is rather fast, you will find your selections within the dialogue Define Module Areas: After adapting the common configuration of the selected module areas.. you could configure them as usual The number of unconfigured selections is not limited to one main row. You could do more selections if you would like to do that. I hope this is what you are looking for! Kind regards Frederik

Hello Daniel93 thank you for your request. You might open a PowerShell and check the connection to our license server. Press Win, type powershell, press Enter Execute the command: Invoke-WebRequest -Uri "https://license.valentin.de/" -Method Head -Verbose StatusCode must be 200 You could also post the output here. There is a list of URLs that are mandatory for using PV*SOL in our online help: https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2023/en/start/system-requirements/#internet-connection Kind regards Frederik

Hi sodik this battery simply is not available in our online database yet. I forwarded your request to our database team. Meanwhile you could input the given specifications in your own created product to be able to simulate rather than waiting for the databases getting an update. Kind regards Frederik

Hej Levan Pardon my belated answer. Could you send me your project file via private message here in the forum so I can have a look into the configurations and double checking? It would also be nice to know your own calculations so we could compare. Did you contact our hotline support? Thank you in advance and kind regards Frederik

Hello Torbjørn Heimvik The download for version 2023 R4 is now activated. Kind regards Frederik

I want to zoom out more to see the entire model with modules.

Hi Jackie I answered your request in the parallel thread of yours: Kind regards Frederik -

Hi fpWE Fair question! We do let the manufacturers put new module data into our online database. What I can offer is to nudge the responsible persons registered with us in the database and make a query for the corresponding values in doubt. So far we do not adapt the degradation rates from data sheets. It is up to our customers to set these values manually. I will have a look into our backlog since I am pretty sure we do have this feature on our list for a while. Time to discuss it again. Kind regards Frederik

Hi RaW Thank you for your valuable input. Not yet. But we are aware of that feature request. It is on our near future list and planned as a parameter that should be changeable via Project Options > Automatic Configuration somewhere here I forwarded your request! Kind regards Frederik

Hi RaW To make sure I did understand your request correctly: Do you mean the meteo data for the given location for which you are doing the simulation? Or did you mean being able to skim through all the .wbv files within the climate data folder of PV*SOL? The input data of global irradiation and temperature data, which is used for the simulation is logged into the results. Kind regards Frederik
-
Hej Torbjørn Heimvik I am sorry to be that guy but I have to disappoint you. The current 3D does not offer this functionality and since a modern, Unity-based 3D environment with already working undo|redo history is in the making, we are not able to implement this feature for the existing codebase, I'm afraid. Kind regards Frederik
-
Hi RaW unfortunately the .wbv files are saved in non-human readable binary format, I'm afraid. Kind regards Frederik

Import Climate data per minutes values instead of hourly values
developer_fw replied to Sawhnik's topic in PV*SOL
Hello Sawhnik Unfortunately not. You have to aggregate the data first, I'm afraid. https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2023/en/pages/system-type-climate-and-grid/meteosyn/#options Kind regards Frederik -
Hi anees, via Help > Info Registration > Maintenance you can check your expiration date. Kind regards Frederik

Hi Torbjørn Heimvik this is fixed in our upcoming release 2023 R4. Kind regards Frederik
