  1. To my knowledge, the system operator receives Ausfallvergütung only under special conditions, like when Einspeisevergütung or Direktvermarktung fails. Even then, the operator has to apply for Ausfallvergütung to receive the compensation. So these are very special cases and I don't think it's possible to calculate in PVSol

  9. Hi Miguel, To my knowledge I haven't seen any option in PVSol to set the life-time of the battery. May be PVSol considers the degradation of the battery which inturn impacts the efficiency and eventually the energy that can be stored in the battery. -Vishnu

Hallo PV Sol Team, Ja I know it's hard to get back to work after such a good Berlin weekend So talking business, we are planning a 15kWp system with 2xSungrow Hybrid HV SH6.0 RT inverters each of which gets one LG Chem Resu 10 batterie. However this combo is not readily available in PV Sol. I was wondering if there is an option to select only LG Chem batterie under batterie section as I can already simulate the system with the inverter. Also is there a possibility to simulate a system with two inverters having one batterie each? Thank you, Vishnu
  11. Hello Ragy, I checked your system's configuration and I see there are 17 modules in a string and the modules have NOCT voltage of 39,8V which under NOCT gives 676,6V string voltage. The inverter's MPP voltage range is 570-850V. So as you expected it is possible that the string voltage is only slightly above DC start voltage of inverter (620V) To my knowledge, this impacts the efficiency and hence is high power loss due to MPP voltage range. This is only my opinion and the PV Sol team can give a better explaination Regards

Hey Ricardo, These are two different modules and there is no reason for me to believe that both the modules have similar anti-reflection coating and cell-surface polishing for Total Internal Reflection (TIR). I also see some difference in Module inclination and orientation losses. Of course it is marginal but this still could show some impact on reflection losses. -Vishnu
  13. Hello Reint, It is hard to say why there is no significant difference between system with SolarEdge and Huawei inverter without info about your project. Have you tried comparing the Energy Balance sheet of both the systems? Optimizers would definitely reduce impact of shaded modules on the whole string. I used PV Sol v7 from April 2020 to re-run it today.     i tried to record a similar video for one of our projects but the animation is available only for year 2017. is it possible to select the current year. i know, this may not make a big difference but, you know, marketing people can be really annoying to get these details right. no offense to marketing people reading this ?
  20. Hello Valentin Team, We simulated a projekt a couple of months back and ended up with 909 kWh/kWp Spez. Jahresertrag. But when i re-run the same simulation today, to my surprise, it increased to 929 kWh/kWp. I know year 2020 has been crazy but is it really this crazy!!!??? ??   22. Hallo Valentin Team, Hope you all are enjoying the summer !! Apparently, zero grid injection systems are performing pretty bad, especially in case of unbalanced loads. We have a system performing worse than what we expected from simulations. Our theory is that this could be becasue of unbalanced load distribution on the phases where one of the phases has very low consumption which is consequently limiting the generation as the inverter has balanced output on all its phases I simulated with curtailment at feed-in point but this did not help us in preparing for what's about to com

So, we are planning a system with two SolarEdge inverters(SE10K + SE7K) and want to add two batteries (2*LG Chem 10). PVSol currently allows me to add two batteries only to one inverter. Of course, we would use hybrid inverters Could you please let me know if there is a way to add one battery to each inverter? Thank you,
  24. Dear Martin, Thank you for your reply. I have checked with the WR manufacturer regarding the usage of high power modules. I was told that the inverter clips any current and power over the rated values and the input voltage should not exceed the rated-voltage (attached the screenshot) I have checked Uoc of Qcells 340/345 Wp modules (40,24/40,49 Volt). So I understood that these can be used with this WR which has rated input voltage 42V but PVSol throws an error as Impp of the modules is more than rated current of WR (9,52A) Could you please suggest what can be done to
