  2. Hi Asmaa, I was informed that you already got an answer by our support, correct? Best regards, Frederik
  4. Hello Marius Floroiu, I would recommend creating your building with external 3D software as the possibilities are more versatile: I assume you are trying to build something like above? This is hard to create in PV*SOL 3D. Best regards, Frederik
  5. Hi Photovoltaique83, after setting the compensation to energy instead of power... create a second band via the button on the right side and enter you values: I hope this clarifies your issue. Best regards, Frederik
  6. The software is called Blender https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blender_(software) https://www.blender.org/ Best regards, Frederik
  8. Hi Esteban, the automatic recognition of possible mounting surfaces has always been in beta only and never matured to more than an experimental method. You have to paint this mounting surface onto your model: After this, you are able to place modules as intended: I hope this helps. Best regards, Frederik
  9. Hello Venkatesh, might it be possible for you to send the 3D model file to me via private message here in the forum so I can take a look? Thanks in advance and best regards, Frederik
  10. Hi Esteban, your model does have a plane reaching over your building: I removed it and exported your model as .obj file. .skp files cannot be imported directly into PV*SOL. SketchUp offers the possibility to export files in .stl format. Then you can use the 3D program https://www.blender.org/ to open it and export to various formats. I hope this helps! If you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask! Best regards, Frederik
  11. Hi Esteban, could you send me your model via private message here in the forum so I can have a look? Thanks in advance and best regards, Frederik
  12. Hi Roan, welcome to the forum! Do you have an error message and what does it say? Best regards, Frederik
  13. Hi xueting, the characteristics are limited to the inverter MPPs. There is also a limitation when simulating with minute values: In this case you have to choose one MPP. A setting to record characteristics for each PV module is not available. Best regards, Frederik
  15. Hello Samreen Ameen, do you mind trying the following steps? Navigate to the installation directory of PV*SOL (something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Valentin EnergieSoftware\PVSOL premium 2021\) Look for the executable file PVSOLpremium.exe, right click on it and select Properties Switch to the Compatibility tab and click the button Change high DPI settings Uncheck the checkbox in High DPI scaling override and close all opened setting windows by applying changes if necessary After this PV*SOL might look a bit misaligned (some controls might not be reachable, texts might be cut off or overlapping, etc) but the measured lines in the Map Section tool and the draw-polygon tool in the 3D editor should match. If you have further questions or in case this workaround does not work, please reach out again! Best regards, Frederik
  16. Hi Dansmith955, sorry for the belated answer. I assume you are referring to the configuration of PV modules in 3D. Right click on any configuration, select Edit configuration. The Inverter-Selection leads to PV Inverters for configuring PV modules: After leaving 3D and changing to the page Battery System, it is possible to filter all products for Type of coupling and chose a battery system. After selecting a battery system, you are able to choose the inverter connection: I hope this helps! Best regards, Frederik
  17. Hi Patrik Redebrandt, one license is bound to one workstation. It is allowed to move your license for a limited number of times per period. Please also refer to our online help: https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2022/en/start/registration/#license-terms It is not possible to use the same license on several computers even when you are not using it at the same time. Best regards, Frederik
  18. Hi Kimberley, does the following thread solve your problem? Best regards, Frederik
  19. Hello Akash, I hope I get this right: Depending on the system type you can choose if you do or do not have a grid: https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2022/en/pages/system-type-climate-and-grid/#system-type If you do have a grid, you are free to delete the applied feed-in tariffs: I hope this helps. Best regards, Frederik
  20. Hi KCS, you could change the Page format via Options > Plan Properties to a bigger page size. Further editing is not possible, but we recommend the export as SVG: https://inkscape.org/ is a very capable, open source vector graphics program recommended for such tasks. I hope this helps! Best regards, Frederik
  23. Hi Paweł, we are aware that this results into pushing our customers to the latest version of PV*SOL, but unfortunately we had to change the structure of the .pvprj files for better future maintainability. You could download the latest version as test version but yes, usually this means Software Maintenance as our service. Apart from being able to use the latest data from our databases additionally you do benefit from lots of bugfixes. Best regards! Frederik
  24. Hi GeorgeRymer96, the avoided CO2 emissions are calculated using the average CO2 emissions applied to one kilowatt hour of drawn grid electricity. Without knowing your project files I assume the battery storage is configured with full and equalization charging strategies. Because it is maintenance charging, it does not matter whether it is photovoltaic or grid electricity. It might be possible that your battery storage causes a higher grid draw. I understand your concerns about client communication. If you like, you could send me your project files here via private message so I can take a look. Best regards, Frederik
