Hello Buro Happold Sorry for the late reply. 220MB might be too big for my email box. Might it be possible to .zip it with a password (7zip e.g.), send me a wetransfer link or similar via private message plus the password? I understand if that might violate your privacy directives. Then we will find another way. Kind regards Frederik

Hello Rafael Faria Could you elaborate on the time increments? I am not sure I understand correctly. Kind regards Frederik

Hello Brian Thank you for your important request of retrofitting an existing system. At the moment this is not possible I'm afraid. Kind regards Frederik

Adding cost for replacement inverter into the "Finansial analysis"
developer_fw replied to PVSOLLearner's topic in PV*SOL
Hello PVSOLLearner I do concur. This is indeed the preferred way to go at the moment. Kind regards Frederik -
Hello ionut Thank you for your request. In case the products are not in our database yet, I forwarded your request to our database team. Unfortunately there is none. After opening up our products database you could add your own products meanwhile or copy a product and start from there similar to: Kind regards Frederik

Hello Guilherme Braghirolli PV*SOL does not support georeferencing ob objects, I'm afraid. In PV*SOL this is not intertwined and has to be set on the page System Type, Climate and Grid within the block Climate Data: Kind regards Frederik

Hello SHK4KOR In case you do have selected an inverter which is capable of operating interconnected MPP trackers -- within the dataset it is the following entry: On the page Inverters there is the possibility to select the type of operation: Kind regards Frederik

PC crushed with bluescreen while trying to download the softwere
developer_fw replied to Janek PM's topic in PV*SOL
Hello Janek PM Sorry for the inconvenience. Albeit the outdated version (2020R8), could you elaborate what your machine is running? With the given information I cannot say what might be the problem here. All I can say is that it is very unusual for the installer to cause crashes since we are using a very common installer. At this point in time of the installation process it is not PV*SOL which causes the crash but might be connected to file system corruption, user rights, state of your operating system, etc. Kind regards Frederik -
Hello BAK Unfortunately not, I'm afraid. I assume yes. Kind regards Frederik

Hallo Josooo07, Ui, interessante Sache!

Hello Kashaf I acknowledge the somewhat unusual placement. You can find it after leaving the 3D environment on the page 3D design: Kind regards Frederik

Export Limit setting for (PV+Storage) system simulation
developer_fw replied to Ykulkarni's topic in PV*SOL
Hello Ykulkarni You can set a power clipping via Options > Project Options > AC Mains > Maximum Feed-in Power Clipping Yes, that is a first indicator. For dimensioning it might be helpful to not only maximize self-sufficiency but also have a look into what is possible economically. Therefore it is useful to analyse the simulation results with a focus on the size of energy shifts and power limitations i.e. is your battery system able to consume and provide as intended. Does this help? Kind regards Frederik -
Hello Balck Yes. For a more accurate result you have to provide PV*SOL with a load profile which resembles reality. The load profiles from our database are example profiles. Of course the most accurate variant would be measured values. It is also always a good idea to ask people on site for typical behaviour of users of the buildings. Maybe you are lucky and they do have some measurements -- at least of some buildings. In your case you might have insights into public usage plans, vacation days and so on to create your own estimation. Does this help? Kind regards Frederik
-
Hello Pranav At the moment this is not possible. There will be a new export dialogue in the upcoming release 2025 where the aggregation of simulation results will be possible. Kind regards Frederik
-
Hello Balck In your case your profile as a carplet plot should be looking something like this: Now every month has got a constant load, independent from day or night when your PV system does not produce anything. Consumption can only be covered when it overlaps in time and is less than production Does this help? Kind regards Frederik

Hello Balck Your production must be in time with your consumption in order to use a higher fraction. Please have a look into the following thread where the concurrency issue is answered: Kind regards Frederik

Hello Shan Not automatically via a setting. You could create the project report as .docx file and copy the numbers manually. Kind regards Frederik

Hello YouriBS Sorry for the belated answer. In case the areas are able to hold the modules in size (vertical size), you should be able to Cover the selected areas automatically without using a mounting system but the Module coverage instead. Are you sure, the drawn model could hold the preferred module? Could you do me a favour and send me your imported 3D model via private message here in the forum so I can have a look into it? Thank you in advance and kind regards Frederik

Hello hom At the moment we do not support .ifc file format. I will forward your request to the responsible person, though. Kind regards Frederik

Hello Mircea Balatescu Thank you for your request and thank you for your response, @Sam. For being able to number your configuration like you did show in this screenshot: you should know about the selection of modules in the 3D environment first. Instead of configuring all modules at once you could pre-select the rows you wish to configure separately by drawing selection, holding CTRL for adding to the selection and adding them to the configure dialogue via the context-menu: (1) Right-click (2) Configure the selected modules By doing this preparation your automatic numbering should be more easy. Kind regards Frederik
