Hello Vishnu, you have to create your own tariff. You can define different tariff periods for net metering tariffs and for from-grid tariffs. In your case you would define 2 different tariff periods. Kind regards, Marcel

Expansion of the usable map space in 3D planning
-
Hello Jon, Unfortunately, that's not possible. The size of the objects is limited due to the usable map space and cannot be extended. But I put your wish on the wish list. Kind regards, Marcel

Hello Vishnu, To obtain a better plan, you must export the plan as a file in *.dxf format. In this format, you can edit the plan freely. For your second question, you can download the simulation results (https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2019/pages/presentation/#simulation-results). There you find the generation profile as hourly values or even in a minutely resolution, if the simulation was activated with minute values. Kind regards, Marcel

Hello Teun, PVGIS has updated their service. However, we have not yet updated our service to provide automated data from PVGIS. It has also not yet been decided whether we will offer it at all. However, you can still use the data, just go to the PVGIS homepage https://re.jrc.ec.europa.eu/pvg_tools/en/tools.html#MR and extract the monthly radiation data. You can then import this data into PV*SOL as measurement data (https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2019/pages/system-type-climate-and-grid/meteosyn/#create-new-location). Kind regards, Marcel

Hello Damaris, the wiring used is valid, therefore the green checkmarks are displayed. However, you have configured the wrong number of modules. You have 19 PV modules in your "Este" module area and 62 PV modules in your "Oeste" module area. But you have connected 42 modules to "Este" instead of 19 and 39 modules to "Oeste" instead of 62. You therefore receive two error messages. Kind regards, Marcel

Hello FeRm00, Could you send me the project file where this error occurs? Kind regards, Marcel

Hello Dugs, the manufacturers are responsible for updating their products in our database. If you are missing some products you can contact our database team at database@valentin-software.com to ask manufacturers to enter their latest products. But for now, I will forward your request to them. You can also add your own product to the database. Simply open the database dialog and add your own database entry (product) by clicking on the highlighted button. The low-light data can also be calculated by PV*SOL. However, the manufacturer would have to be contacted for more detailed data. To get more information, have a look at our help: Database Overview: https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2019/databases/components/ Creating a new pv module: https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2019/databases/components/pv-modules/ Kind regards, Marcel

Hello Vishnu, yes there are a few exceptions to be exempted from the tax on self consumption. E.g. this only becomes chargeable for systems with a minimum size of 10 kWp, or if you are not connected to the electrical grid, the tax is not charged. More detailed information can of course be found in the law (in german: https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/eeg_2014/BJNR106610014.html). Kind regards, Marcel

developer_mm replied to Damaris's topic in PV*SOL
Hello Damaris, in PV*SOL you can clip the maximum feed in power from the pv system. I would suggest to clip all the generated power at the feed in point. Kind regards, Marcel- 1 reply

Hello rafal, if I have understood your desired tariff correctly, just change at "Own Consumption" to "Fee" and you should be fine. Kind regards, Marcel

Hello Jeroen, yes, you can change the direction of the building, but only with a roof mounted PV system (which you have ). The disadvantage is that you lose your cable plan if you have created one. To rotate a building, double click on the desired building and change the orientation. However, this is only possible if your building does not collide with other buildings during the orientation change. Either move the building where it can't collide with other buildings, or deactivate the collision (right click on the building). Regarding your second question, unfortunately it is not possible to enter the direct distance between two buildings. But you can do a little trick that I use quite often. Place a wall and change the length of the wall to the desired building distance and change the orientation of the wall as needed. Now you can use the wall as a measure. It's not a nice solution, but it will work. When you're done, just delete the wall. Kind regards, Marcel

Hello Andy Mallett, which PV*SOL version do you use? The mpp voltage of the PV module in the latest PVSOL version is correct. Kind regards, Marcel
-
Hello Jef, no, you can't do that in PV*SOL. You have to do it manually, what you have already done. Kind regards, Marcel
-
Hello Vishnu, You might be right that the standby consumption of the system with emergency power is higher, but one way or another, I don't think you would see a big difference between these systems. To be on the safe side, you can ask the manufacturer if the standby consumption is different between these options. Kind regards, Marcel

Hello Jef Noelmans, I would suggest, run a simulation without a battery system and with net metering and another simulation with the same pv system, but this time with the desired battery system and the concept "surplus feed-in". Then you can compare both results. To do so, select a type of system with a battery system and define the battery system. Then select your "surplus feed-in" concept. Kind regards, Marcel
