Hello Go green BG I am not sure I understand your question correctly. In this case it seems best to have several projects with adapted inclinations. There is no way of combining several projects into one .pvprj file, I'm afraid. Kind regards Frederik
-
Hi Go green BG At the moment you have to do several simulations and could zip together the exported simulation results afterwards. But thank you for the input, this is a nice idea which I added to our list of feature requests. Kind regards Frederik

Hi Rene There is no special reason. It is just coincidence that somehow the default location for Iraq is missing. And it could be that we did not create a default climate location for every country in the world. You could create new locations as usual, though. Kind regards Frederik

Hi Sebastian-S This is not correct. By activating the object on which you do want to place the chimney - the dormer in this case - by right click > Activate, you could place further objects. Kind regards Frederik

Hello Francisco.Rincon Thank you for your request. I forwarded it to our database team. Kind regards Frederik

Berechnungsgrundlage für Blindleistungsbereitstellung
developer_fw replied to Zdenko's topic in PV*SOL

Questions regarding bifacial modules and effects on yield
developer_fw replied to Torbjørn Heimvik's topic in PV*SOL
That is correct, yes. -

Hi Afriyie Could you ensure you do have necessary rights for the following files? Kind regards Frederik
-
Hello oscar No, there is no option to save and load certain sun positions for further maximum shading analysis. Kind regards Frederik
-
Hello Valeriia Not at the moment, no. But I will put this on our agenda (once again) and see if and when we could make this happen. Kind regards Frederik
-
Hello ArtemVydysh Could you tell the name of your module area? There could be a problem due to not allowed special characters. Thank you in advance and kind regards Frederik
-
Hello RaW Could you check the following thread and test the steps? If this does not help, please feel free to come back. You could also send all the files here via private message so I can have a look into it. Kind regards Frederik

Questions regarding bifacial modules and effects on yield
developer_fw replied to Torbjørn Heimvik's topic in PV*SOL
Hi Torbjørn Heimvik Thank you for the project file. The losses due to the bifaciality factor is just one side of the coin since you have to take into account radiation gains: That is correct. Kind regards Frederik -
Hi Martijn Thank you for your request. The fields of the fast selection are separated and do not allow a comprehensive search. In this case Fronius is the manufacturer which can be found in the Manufacturer dropdown. For a comprehensive lookup try opening the database via the Detailed Selection: After selecting All Companies you could filter for byd... It is the dropdown for the manufacturer who sells the system despite the battery its using but I acknowledge it could be misleading. Kind regards Frederik

How to put new brand inverter spec into your online database?
developer_fw replied to Garry's topic in PV*SOL
Hej Garry Unfortunately your email has ended up in SPAM. Meanwhile, you should have received an email with your account instructions. Kind regards Frederik -
Hello omid Could you please elaborate your statement? It is definitely possible to mix charging sources, otherwise it would have been indeed a downgrade. The example project "Battery System" is configured to avoid additional charging from the grid After activating time-controlled charging the charging by grid becomes bigger: It is. Kind regards Frederik

Hi Garry Thank you for your message. I forwarded your request. Kind regards Frederik -
Hello Martin WALZER Thank you for your request which I forwarded to our database team. This also depends on the manufacturers and how fast they can provide the systems to our database. Kind regards Frederik

Hello Marek We are working hard on the new 3D environment where we did implement a undo/redo stack for as many instructions as possible. New graphics are the topping in the end of our development cycle. We are currently planning to complete a first test version in fall 2024. It is extremely difficult to give a fixed schedule because there are always drawbacks. I know that's not satisfactory; that's all I can say at the moment. Kind regards Frederik

Questions regarding bifacial modules and effects on yield
developer_fw replied to Torbjørn Heimvik's topic in PV*SOL
Hello Torbjørn Heimvik in our online help it is stated that typical bifacial factors are in the range of 0.7...0.8 which means 70...80%: https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2024/en/calculation/pv-modules/bifacial-modules/ It is also stated that for roof-parallel systems as chosen within your project there is no radiation on the back side. When changed in the used mounting system, there should be additional yield. In your example project with a low module elevation in east-west configuration I assume there is probably no relevant gains anyway. Hm, could you send the .pvprj file regarding those losses? Without the project file it is hard to pin down the responsible causes. Kind regards Frederik
