Luís Posted December 20, 2018 Report Posted December 20, 2018 Hi everyone! I'm trying to place a structure (car park) in a tilted terrain, so that the structure assumes the inclination of the terrain but, it goes right throw it... That car park also needs to be inclined towards west but it seem that PV Sol only allows me to lean an object in one axel. Is it true or there is another way of doing this? Thanks Luís Quote
developer_mm Posted December 21, 2018 Report Posted December 21, 2018 Hello Luís, I guess you have three ways to get what you want. (A) Place a "single saw tooth roof" on the building. Then you can change the orientation of this object as you like. It would look like this: (B) Create your own 3D modell and import it into PVSOL. Further information can be found in our tutorial section in the forum. (C) Shorten your map section and place an "open area" with a building I hope this helps, Kind regards and soon merry christmas, Marcel Quote
Luís Posted December 21, 2018 Author Report Posted December 21, 2018 Hi Marcel, Thanks for your help. Unfortunately structures A) and C) aren't parallel to the terrain and that is what I need, maintaining a leaned roof with 6º. Is it possible without having to model outside PVSOL? Merry Christmas Luís Quote
developer_mm Posted December 21, 2018 Report Posted December 21, 2018 I'm not sure if I got it right, but in this case just take a building with a flat roof or change the roof pitch of another building to 0°. Quote
Paco Posted April 26, 2022 Report Posted April 26, 2022 How can I change the orientaton of a saw tooth roof? Quote
developer_fw Posted April 26, 2022 Report Posted April 26, 2022 Hi Paco, after creating a saw tooth roof, a right click onto the building opens the context menu which gives you the option to edit the orientation: Best regards, Frederik Quote
