Boo
Dear PV*SOL community, I would like to use TMEIC (SOLAR WARE 2550) inverter for my solar farm but I couldn't find in the database. Is it possible to create a new brand or do I have to create using an existing brand? Also, does the database has any large scale inverter? Thank you for the reply in advance. developer_mm
Hello Boo, yes, it seems that TMEIC has no inverters in our database, but it is possible to create database entries yourself. Open the corresponding database dialog, in your case "Inverter" and click on the symbol with the red frame (see picture). For more information about creating an entry, visit https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2018/databases/components/inverter/. To find a large inverter, simply select "All companies" in the treeview on the left and sort the resulting database entries (inverters) by "AC Power Rating" (orange frame) or by another column. kind regards, Marcel

Miguel Santos Silva
Hi, I am facing a similair problem with the inverters. When I choose to make a new entry, can I also create a new brand? It seems to me that I have to choose one of the brands available. Thank you. Regards, Miguel
developer_mh
Hi Miguel, you can also add your own company to the database and then use it. Go to database -> Companies, then choose "New" from the Actions Menu. Then, when you create a new product, yu'll have to open the full company dialog in order to see your company. In the dropdown on the left, only companies are shown that have products of the current product type. Hope that helps, kind regards, Martin
