Ajay Deepak Posted October 23, 2022 Report Posted October 23, 2022 Hi, My cable loss calculation value is different than PVSOL calculation, so I can't use the Detailed section to mention the losses for the same cable sizes. Can we have the option to add DC and AC cable losses separately under the total cable losses section? (maybe including cable size) During power clipping, DC cable losses will be recaptured by clipped DC power. So it needs to be defined separately. Following the example cases, 1. Centralized architecture: DC cable loss - 1.5%, AC cable loss - 0.2% 2. Decentralized architecture: DC cable loss - 0.5%, AC cable loss - 2% Quote
Ajay Deepak Posted November 14, 2022 Author Report Posted November 14, 2022 Hi, Are you planning to add this function? Regards, Ajay. Quote
developer_mh Posted November 16, 2022 Report Posted November 16, 2022 Hi Ajay, thank you for your valuable input. We will put this feature request on our list. Kind regards, Martin Quote
CarlSEL Posted May 28 Report Posted May 28 Has this feature been added yet? A separate loss for each cable length would be so beneficial. Quote
hotline_oh Posted June 2 Report Posted June 2 Dear CarlSEL, Thank you for your inquiry. If you select detailed dimensioning on the ‘Cables’ page, the separate losses for the DC and AC cables are displayed in the energy balance: Quote
CarlSEL Posted June 3 Report Posted June 3 I was asking about the AC cables. I have 25 330k inverters all with different lengths ranging from 100 metres to 300 metres. There is no way to manually input each cable length. Quote
hotline_oh Posted June 17 Report Posted June 17 Dear CarlSEL, Thank you for the clarification. We have passed your request on to our development department once again. Quote
