Ian Mutisya Posted September 2, 2020 Report Posted September 2, 2020 I hope to retrieve annual performance of an installed PV system. I am using the actual measurements of the system to create the model on PVsol. However, I am not sure of how I can set it so that I only use the climate data for 2009; hence receive the predicted performance of the system in 2009. Kindly assist me. Thanks Quote
developer_mh Posted September 3, 2020 Report Posted September 3, 2020 Hi Ian, usually we use climate data of a long period of time, 10 years or more, in order to represent a typical meteorological year. More on this topic can be found here: https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2020/calculation/irradiation/climate-data/ If you want to simulate with weather data from only one year you would have to import these data first. In PVGIS you can get single years of irradiation and temperature data if I am not mistaken. Then you prepare a custom weather file that you can import into PV*SOL: https://help.valentin-software.com/pvsol/2020/pages/system-type-climate-and-grid/meteosyn/#options Hope that helps, kind regards, Martin Quote
