Hello there,

i was going through the cash flow in the PV Sol report and interestingly the FIT value is negative for the first 18 years and then turned positive. Any idea how FIT can be negative?

Do you think this has something to do with "Minimum amount per year" in the electricity tariff model that i select during simulation ?

Danke!!

Hello Vishnu,

In Germany you have to pay for your own consumed energy (which was generated by the PV system). This is regulated by the tariff "EEG 2018 - Umlage auf Eigenverbrauch - Alle Anlagenarten". Thus they must pay 1306.03 EUR ("Eigenverbrauchsabgabe") in the first year. For your other tariff "EEG 2018 (Oktober) - Gebäudeanlage" you receive 963.75 EUR ("Einspeisevergütung"). Your total payment in the first year is therefore -342.72 EUR ("Gesamtvergütung im ersten Jahr").

Kind regards,

Marcel
