Dennis Indutecc Posted February 1, 2019 Report Posted February 1, 2019 Guys, How can I draw a roof surface that starts on the east side on the first floor (2.5 meters) and on the west side on the 2nd floor (5 meters)? I can draw a staggered roof surface which starts at the same height by changing the angle per roof surface but I can't get the above plane drawn Thanx in advance for the answer! Quote
jamesbm Posted February 5, 2019 Report Posted February 5, 2019 The PV*Sol guys may have a smarter way but I think you will need to set up 2 buildings (1 for East facing roof, 1 for West). Give each a single pitch roof and work out the gutter height and roof pitch so that the buildings meet at the ridge. Â Hope that helps. James Quote
developer_mm Posted February 7, 2019 Report Posted February 7, 2019 Hi Dennis, I would recommend the variant James wrote. The other option would be to import a 3D model that you need to create in SketchUp or something like that. But the easiest and fastest way would be to just create two buildings and place them right next to each other. Kind regards, Marcel Quote
