Hello, 

Is it even possible to connect only one Tigo optimizer per string? I tried to do that with no result .. It looks like it only service the matrix of optimizers for each module??

Hi Andrzej,

you can connect the power optimizers in any imaginable way. Also only one per string, although this is not recommended. See this configuration for example, where I connect 5 modules in series on one Tigo TS4-L 32V:

Keep in mind however, that the Tigo optimizers are not designed for such a configuration. The voltage and current ranges and also the power levels are designed for one module only, perhaps two if you have bad lighting conditions.

If you want to configure a string with e.g. 9 modules without and only with power optimizer, you can do the following with the polystring feature:

Thank You for reply, but what if i want to connect only one optimizer for only one module in string? (i have 1 or two modules periodically shaded)

then you can go with my second example, i.e. polystring and "Connect strings in series"

Hello,

I'm trying to add 1 optimizer to the string with 10 modules in it. How can I choose exact module (the one that is shaded) for which I want to use the optimizer?
