Designer0916 Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 I spent a lot of time setting up the geometry for a half hipped roof in the 3D model. Unfortunately, I can't use the roof as one area (there are separate Attic Storey 1 and Attic Storey 2) so I can't fit maximum panels on there. Is there another solution to this problem ? Quote
developer_mh Posted February 13, 2017 Report Posted February 13, 2017 Hey Designer0916, you can place your modules on both parts of the half hipped roof and if they have the same inclination, you can connect them together like so: right click on each module area and select "Add to 'Define Module Areas' Dialog" Then go into the 'Define module areas' dialog in the 'module configuration' tab: From the small icons on top, choose 'combine selection' (this is only possible, if the modules have the same inclination and orientation, of course) Then click 'configure' at the bottom and you'll be able to connect both of them to one inverter. Hope that helps, kind regards, Martin Quote
Omar Posted March 27 Report Posted March 27 Hi I don't know how to draw the half-hipped roof in a right way .. I always face that each Attic Storey has different inclination. May you please tell me the right way to draw it? Quote
developer_fw Posted April 2 Report Posted April 2 Hi Omar Could you elaborate on your process so far? By default, the attic storeys do have the same inclination (roof pitch): Kind regards Frederik Quote
