Cable Plan

Hello!

I created my first PVSol project in PVSol Premium 2016 demo and I have no idea how can I place cables. I have module strings on frames and almost every option turned grey or just doesn't work for me (attachement).

The cable plan option in the 3D visualization only works for modules which are planned with the module coverage option. If you have planned modules with mounting systems then the cable plan is not available in 3D.

how to create the cable plan for the pv panels created with mounting system in 3D . can we create the cable plan , by exporting  the plan to 2D or another other way possible for it.

Dear allan,

for mounting systems it is not yet possible to create the cable plan in 3D. However, if you plan your mounting system in 3D and go back to 2D, you can enter your cable lengths and other details on the page "Cables" when you select the detailed option.

In the info dialog at the bottom of the page you'll find a summary of all cables and other components.
