emre kaynak Posted August 29, 2015 Report Posted August 29, 2015 To whom it may concern, Â When trying to conncect two modules, i receive 2 degree error. Any idea on how to fix that? Â Thanks a lot in advance Quote
hotline_sf Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Hello Emre,  If I see it right from the screenshot then you are trying to group modules with different orientations (310° and 130°). This is not possible. Only modules with the same orientation and tilt (+/- 2°) can be gouped.  Best regards  Your Technical Support Quote
emre kaynak Posted September 1, 2015 Author Report Posted September 1, 2015 we cant connct the two sides as shown in the pic. How can we change the tilt value? Quote
hotline_tm Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 Dear Emre,  If you plan in 3D you can use the âConfigure all unconfigured modulesâ button in the module configuration window to select all modules.   If you are in the inverter selection window you should find your two roof areas (e.g. east and west). Please mark both by using the Control (Ctrl) key and the left mouse key. If you have done it right both areas are marked in blue and the icon "Configure selected module areas together" is activated. Click the icon and both areas will be merged. No you can select a suitable inverter.   You need to find an inverter with two or more MPP trackers. It is not possible to connect modules with a different tilt or orientation to one MPP tracker in the program.  Best regards Your Technical Support Quote
developer_mh Posted December 18, 2017 Report Posted December 18, 2017 Hi, just a short update: In the meanwhile we fully overhauled the design and simulation of PV plants with varying module areas. You can now build any configuration you want with the new 'Polystring feature'. For example: Two module areas on one MPP tracker Different module types in one string Parallel connection of strings with different number of modules etc etc It is available in PV*SOL premium 2018. https://www.valentin-software.com/en/news/product-news/new-pvsol-premium-2018-import-3d-models Martin Quote
