Robert_64 Posted August 19, 2020 Report Posted August 19, 2020 Hello, I own PVSOL Premium 2020. Could you tell me why on micro-inverters I'm unable to automatically wire all PV modules? I get a message: "At least one PV module has a micro-inverter. These cannot be cabled in the curent program version." And the last two PV modules are left unwired. Best regards. Robert Quote
developer_mh Posted August 21, 2020 Report Posted August 21, 2020 Hi Robert, the automatic cabling option is for cabling the DC side only. If you use micro inverters, there is no DC side to cable, hence the message. The reason why there are two modules left unwired is hard to tell, could you tell us more about what exactly you did to wire the micro inverters? Kind regards, Martin Quote
Vishnu Posted August 21, 2020 Report Posted August 21, 2020 do you think the max DC input of the inverter is limiting the number of modules that can be connected to it during auto-cabling? Quote
Pozdrawiam Robert edit by Martin (english translation by deepl.com): Hello, it seems to me that the program is micro cabling on the DC side, but only visualization, because for 4 photovoltaic panels 340W, I should be assigned one 1200W mirkroinverter, or 2 600W, or 4 300W. The wiring diagram is OK, but the visualization is not OK (as in screenshots). I am too short a PVSol user to make sure it is. Greetings Robert Quote
developer_mh Posted September 14, 2020 Report Posted September 14, 2020 Hi Robert, the translation from Polish to English might be a bit rough, but from what I understand you are wondering about the DC cabling visualisation of the inverters with more than one PV module, is that right? As I don't have the project file, I can only refer to the screenshots. The module numbers reveal that there is always just one PV module per string. A string has a + and - minus symbol at its ends, from where the cabling goes to the inverter. So as far as I can see the visualisation is also correct? Sorry if I am getting the question wrong... Kind regards, Martin 1 Quote
