Glenn Posted October 28, 2019 Report Posted October 28, 2019 I am using SMA Off-Grid Configurator 1.0 (R16) on a Windows 10 PC. I have tried to run the "Check for Updates" both automatically at startup and manually under the HELP selection. I get an error message of "No connection to the internet available. Program/database update not possible." The fact I can post this message shows I have internet access. Is there a setting I need to adjust on either the program or my router to allow this communication to work properly? Quote
developer_fw Posted October 30, 2019 Report Posted October 30, 2019 Dear Glenn, we are sorry to inform you about the end of maintenance of the program SMA Off-Grid Configurator quite some years ago. The appearing message has nothing to do with your Internet connection, but with the fact that our corresponding server has been switched off for incoming queries. Thank you for still using our software. Best regards, Frederik Quote
developer_mh Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 Hi Glenn, in addition to my colleague's comment I'd like to add that in our current PV planning software PV*SOL premium 2019 you'll find all the features that were available in the SMA Offgrid Configurator as well, and lots more. See here for a features overview: https://pvsol.software/en/features-pricing or https://www.valentin-software.com/en/products/photovoltaics/57/pvsol-premium You can also test these applications for free for 30 days. Kind regards, Martin Quote
