Successfully created a testing environment and created multiple houses but the software will only let me place solar panels on the ground and not on roofs. Probably something really simple but neither Google search nor FAQs could help. How do I tell the software that I want to place solar panels on roofs? Sorry this probably sounds really stupid and I am not a native English speaker. Just really frustrated after multiple hours into test project and search and not being able to find a solution ... This switches the view from terrain to object mode, allowing you to place panels on the roofs. This YouTube tutorial explains the activation process at the 05:00 mark. Quote
