Hi,

Why does the SLD split the Solar Edge SES units up into individual inverters and not just show the Master unit?

For example a 100kW Solar Edge inverter is 1no Master Unit and 3no SES units. PVSol shows this as 3no separate inverters and this is confusing the already hard to deal with DNOs.

Thanks

Dear CarlSEL,

Thank you for your inquiry.

The database is maintained by the manufacturers themselves. The manufacturers have access to an online database in which they can enter their products. We then carry out database updates at regular intervals and the new entries are transferred to the users' databases.

In relation to the SE100K, you must select three units of 33.3 kW. The manufacturer has intentionally created the data records in this way.

However, you also have the option of creating data records yourself. We recommend that you copy an existing data record (right mouse button --> Copy) and overwrite the values. Further information can be found in our online help.

Hi,

Yes I understand that I now have to select 3no SE100K-EU-(400V) Units to make 1no 100k Unit but the PVSol SLD then gives each unit an independent isolator etc. rather than just one isolator for the master.

Do you understand what I mean?

thanks

Dear CarlSEL,

Thank you for your inquiry.

With 4no 100kW inverters, each consisting of three units, you cannot draw the single line diagram as described above.

However, you have the option of creating data sets yourself. We recommend that you copy an existing data set (right mouse button --> Copy) and overwrite the values. (Further information can be found in our help section.) You would need to create a 100kW Solar Edge inverter. You can then create four isolators (one per inverter) in the single line diagram.
