I am trying to put in the correct measurements of a building that has twelve edges on the roof. How do i enter the correct measurement? I can draw a polygon that is similar to the building and make it at "right angle" but the measurements are not correct.

Hi Patrik K,

Unfortunately, you can only adjust the measurements of the building if you draw the polygon. Once you have drawn the building as a polygon, you can adjust the dimensions by dragging the corresponding corner. If you have marked the "right angles", you can also drag a whole side (e.g. on the picture: the side with 14.223 m can be dragged to the left or to the right), and the right angles remain.

The direct input of the measurements is a missing feature, which we are aware of.

As a small workaround, you can use a wall or similar objects as a measurement aid to draw the building.

Kind regards,

Marcel

Hi

I think the best way is to use the drawing as a Map.

Then you can use that as the basis for clicking in the right spots with the polygon tool.

Just be sure to put the drawing - the "Open Area" in the right azimut direction first.

These features would be very helpful:

 - Polygon tool that makes right angles while drawing.

 - Possibility to enter exact coordinates with the polygon tool.

- Fix the bug that the objects on the Open Area get disorganized when changing the Open Area direction (prio!)

- It should be able to have the texture applied all the way upwards, also to arbitrarybuildings and objects.

Best regards, Ola
