Different strings in the same MPPT

Hello, 

A friend wanted me to make a PV*Sol report of his system. 

I noticed that he have used one string with 8 panels and one with 9 on the same MPPT. 

Is it possible to do this in PV*Sol? 

Also, how would this affect the production?

Definitely! On the navigational page Inverters you have to activate Polystring Configuration which changes the MPP view so you could add several strings:
