fpWE
Greetings, I would like to know why Jinko Tiger Neo JKM565N-72HL4-(V) and Risen RSM110-8-550M Modules show 0% reflection on the module Interface losses, once High Transmission Low Iron Solar Tempered Glass, which is used in both modules do not have a 100% light transmittance rate. Besides, I also would like to know if the technology used in these panels’ glasses are prone to any degradation, and if it is, if this factor is considered in the degradation rate of the module. developer_fw
Hi fpWE Fair question! We do let the manufacturers put new module data into our online database. What I can offer is to nudge the responsible persons registered with us in the database and make a query for the corresponding values in doubt. So far we do not adapt the degradation rates from data sheets. It is up to our customers to set these values manually. I will have a look into our backlog since I am pretty sure we do have this feature on our list for a while. Time to discuss it again. fpWE
Thanks Frederik, I think it would not be a overstatement saying that for us designers, PVSol is a reference source of information not easily available in the market or in the internet. Thus, it would be very helpful if you could show us users that the manufactures' data was checked and approved by you. If you don't mind, i would like to know if there are any answers related to that two modules light transmittance property, please. My best regards, Felipe

You are right that we have a responsibility towards our clientele regarding the validity of the product data! I will bring this into our discussions to identify solutions how we could have more trust into the data provided by the manufacturers.
